2 TAMWORTH NETBALL ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED LOCAL RULES (Updated TNA Council meeting 15 th February, 2017) GENERAL INFORMATION INTERNATIONAL NETBALL FEDERATION INF is the governing body of netball and TNA adheres to the Rules of Netball set out by INF. PUBLICITY will be the main source of information for all netball activities. The Northern Daily Leader and Facebook (Tamworth Netball Association Inc.) will also provide information about activities, results and draws. Club Secretaries requiring notices for publication are to the necessary information to the Association Publicity Officer. UNFINANCIAL PLAYER An unfinancial player is a person who has not paid their membership and competition fees before playing their first game. INELIGIBLE PLAYER An ineligible player is one who is unfinancial and/or not permitted by Local Rules to play in a team. SUBSTITUTION AND TEAM CHANGES Substitution is when a player leaves the court and is replaced by another player. Team changes are when players on court change playing positions. GRADING COMMITTEE The Grading Committee will be responsible for the grading of teams/divisions in all competitive competitions. GAMES COMMITTEE The Games Committee will be responsible for the compilation of each competition s fixtures, including any decisions as to the number of rounds to be played or the format to be used. 3 WET WEATHER also see Local Rule 21 In the event of abandonment of competition games, an announcement shall be broadcast on radio station 2TM/92.9FM and also Facebook, at the earliest opportunity and no later than am. A changed draw (Wet Weather Draw) may be implemented when necessary. The Wet Weather Draw will be made available at the beginning of the competition. ABANDONED GAMES (a) If a team fails or is unable to complete a game and leaves the court at any time during the game it will be deemed that the team unable to continue has forfeited. (b) In the event that the umpires call an end to the game at any time, the score stands and will be deemed legal. The umpires are to immediately notify both the Executive member on duty and the Recording Officer, and write reasons for the decision on the scoresheet. INJURIES Ice is available from the Lockwood Room or Dome First Aid room for injuries as required. All teams should have their own basic first aid requirements at the courts (band aids etc). All player injuries must be recorded on Scoresheet for insurance purposes. Non-players report injuries to Executive. DEFIBRILLATOR The Defibrillator is available and located on the wall near the front counter. INSURANCE All registered members of the TNA are covered by insurance. Insurance forms are available on website Please present insurance forms to the Association Secretary to be signed before being submitted within 30 days from the injury. Persons making an insurance claim, in respect of an injury, are responsible for payment of all accounts prior to the approval of the claim. Please include paid receipts. CODES OF BEHAVIOUR Codes of Behaviour Policies apply to Administrators, Coaches, Players, Umpires, Parents/Guardians, Spectators, Bench Officials and Media. Bad language and poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated in netball. Severe penalties may apply. Codes of Behaviour are available from the Netball NSW website and the Association Secretary. 4 DUTY TEAMS Teams or clubs will be allocated days during the season when they are asked to help with tasks during the running of competitions. The Duty Roster and list of duties will be made available at the beginning of the competition. The Duty Team will operate under the direction of the Games Committee. LOCAL RULE 1 LOCAL RULES (a) Local Rules shall be revised before the beginning of every season at the November meeting, when alterations, deemed necessary by Council, may be made. (b) Local Rules shall be adhered to at all times and be considered as part of the Constitution. LOCAL RULE 2 - SEASON (a) The netball season shall commence and finish on dates to be decided by Executive and ratified by Council. (b) The Saturday Winter Competition shall begin no earlier than the end of March and finish as determined by the Executive. (c) A Monday Night Ladies Competition will be run during school terms. (d) A Thursday Night Ladies and Mixed Competition will be run during school terms. LOCAL RULE 3 - MEETINGS Also see TNA Constitution (a) At least five (5) meetings must be held each year. (b) Council meetings will be held on the third Wednesday in February, April, June, August and November (Local Rules update). (c)the Annual General Meeting will be held in September. (d) Meetings will start at 6.30pm and finish no later than 9.00pm and will take place at the Tamworth Sports Dome. (e) All clubs are required to have two (2) delegates at Council Meetings, the Annual General Meeting and Extra Ordinary Meetings. (f) Minutes must be taken of all meetings including, Council, Executive and Committees. Page 4 of 17

5 LOCAL RULE 4 - CORRESPONDENCE (a) All correspondence is to be with the Secretary by the Tuesday before each Council Meeting. (b) Correspondence may be left with the Executive member on duty in the Lockwood Room or Netball Dome Office. LOCAL RULE 5 - REGISTRATION (a) Any person owing money to Tamworth Netball Association Inc is not eligible to play, coach or manage in any competition team or representative team unless the amount owing is paid, in full, prior to the beginning of competition. Office Bearers and Committee members must also be registered to be eligible for positions. (b) One (1) team clubs will not be accepted. (c) All registration fees shall be as determined by Council. (d) All teams must register at least seven (7) players. (e) Only twelve (12) players per team may be registered at any one time. (f) Registration will be made online under the direction of individual Clubs and TNA. Payment of membership and competition fees will be by Credit Card/Direct Deposit/Manual Payments, depending on how each Club/TNA has been set up. Contact your Club/TNA for method of payment. Clubs/TNA are responsible for ensuring all members are financial. (g) Club Secretaries are to complete a Team Nomination Form listing names of teams, players in each team, nominated grade and coaches/team contact(s) with address and mobile phone number. This is to be done on the MyNetball website where possible. (h) All registration monies must be receipted by the Club/TNA Registrar/Treasurer or Registrar s representative. (i) Alterations to registered players are to be made, in writing, by the Club Secretaries and given to the TNA Registrar for approval. A club may register new players at any time during the season, provided that the Club Secretary or other official of that club does the registration. NB. Players must have played in at least five (5) competition games in that team to qualify for semi-finals, finals and grand finals. Special circumstances may be appealed in writing to TNA. (j) A player registered with a club in any one season shall not transfer to another club until the following season, except in the case of school transfers, and in special circumstances, if approved by TNA Registrar and Executive. 6 (k) Any team who plays an UNFINANCIAL/INELIGIBLE PLAYER will lose points for that game and be notified by the TNA Recording Officer of the offence and penalty incurred. The non-offending team will be considered the winning team and be awarded the 3 points. The offending team will receive 0 points. (l) A de-registered player may only re-register in the same team. Once re-registered the player must play a further three (3) competition games with that team to be eligible for semi-finals etc. (m) Once the registration period has closed and subsequent grading of teams has been completed, late nominations of additional teams will only be accepted within the first two (2) competition rounds at the discretion of the Games Committee and Executive. (n) Clubs assisting with fundraising during the Country Music Festival are to receive a cheque from TNA for their hourly rate, after profit has been calculated. LOCAL RULE 6 - UNIFORMS (a) If two (2) teams drawn to play each other have identical playing position initials then the team named first on the draw will wear a different coloured set of initials for that game. (b) Players may wear jumpers without hoods and/or tracksuits whilst playing in extremely cold weather provided that the complete club uniform and position initials are visible at all times. Skirts/shorts/skorts as per registered uniform must be worn and be the same colour. Shorts/skorts are not to have pockets. Leggings/Skins may be worn under playing uniform. (c) Teams in the same club, playing in the same division, may wear a different coloured top for that season. The Registrar must be notified of the colour of the top. (d) New clubs, or clubs changing uniform colours shall have their colours ratified by the Uniform Committee, headed by the TNA Registrar, who will then notify the Executive. (e) If a club is un-financial for 3 years or more than their colours become available for any club to use with approval from the Uniform Committee, headed by the TNA Registrar, who will then notify the Executive. LOCAL RULE 7 - GRADING OF TEAMS (a) The winning team in each division must play in a higher division for the following competition if five (5) players of the original team are still registered in the team. (b) Teams with five (5) representative players must play in one (1) higher division and in an A division. Representative players are defined as those players who have represented an Association in the past two (2) years. (c) Players who turn 13 years of age during the current year may play in the 12 years division if attending primary school. Page 6 of 17

7 (d) In the case of small schools (those schools who have to incorporate more than three 3 age groups to form a junior team), the Grading Committee will use their discretion when grading the team in a division appropriate to the age of all players, rather than the age of the oldest player. (e) Boys may play in the winter competition as long as they do not turn 13 years of age on or before 31 December of that year. (f) Teams comprising of all males may play in competitions organised by the Association. (g) Teams made up of males and females may play in a mixed competition organised by the Association but must only play other mixed teams. LOCAL RULE 8 - GENERAL RULES FOR WINTER COMPETITION (a) Competition for all players shall be governed at all times by the rules of INTERNATIONAL NETBALL FEDERATION. (b) Competition games shall be under the control of the Games Committee. (c) The Winter Competition shall consist of at least two (2) rounds depending on the number of teams entered. (d) A competition game will consist of four quarters of fifteen (15) minutes each, with intervals of two (2) minutes at the end of first and third quarter and a half-time interval of three (3) minutes. (Unless the Wet Weather Draw has been activated) (d) Primary school players may not play in the Open Division. (e) A player who has participated for part of a game is deemed to have played a whole game. (f) Players can only play for one team in each time slot. (g) Any team withdrawing from the Winter Competition will incur an administration fee of $ (h) All players, will need to pay the TNA competition fee as set for their age. LOCAL RULE 9-10 YEARS DIVISION (a) Teams entered in the 10 years division will play full competition rules except for the duration of games which will be the same as Net Set Go. (b) A NetSetGo game will consist of four quarters of ten (10) minutes each, with intervals of two (2) minutes at the end of first and third quarter and a half-time interval of three (3) minutes. (Unless the Wet Weather Draw has been activated) Page 7 of 17

8 (b) Finals will not be played in the 10 years division. (c) The first two (2) teams on top of the ladder at the end of the competition will be declared the winner and runner-up. (d) If the two (2) top teams are on equal points at the end of the competition then they will be named joint premiers. (e) If teams are on equal points for second place at the end of the competition, the position will be decided on goal averages. LOCAL RULE 10 NET SET GO DIVISION (a) Teams entered in the Net Set Go divisions are to play non-competitive netball. (b) A NetSetGo game will consist of four quarters of ten (10) minutes each, with intervals of two (2) minutes at the end of first and third quarter and a half-time interval of three (3) minutes. (Unless the Wet Weather Draw has been activated) (c) All players in the Net Set Go divisions are to receive a participation award. LOCAL RULE 11 - FORFEITS (a) All games will commence at the time specified on the draw. (b) If a team fails to take the court within two (2) minutes of the designated time for the start or restart of play, the umpires shall award the game to the non-offending team. (c) After the umpires declare a forfeit the score sheet is to be signed by the non-forfeiting team, both scorers, both umpires and the players (if any) from the forfeiting team. (d) All teams involved in forfeits must provide umpires, as shown on the draw, for that day. (e) When a team has received a forfeit or is the forfeiting team it will be sufficient if one member of the team(s) indicates on the score sheet the players who would have participated in that game. Those players listed will be credited with having participated in a competition game. (f) In the event of a notified forfeit, that is, before am on the day of play, it will be sufficient if names of players available to play are ed to the Recording Officer at tamworthnetball@bigpond.com by the end of the day s play. This applies to both teams involved in the forfeited game. (g) A team which forfeits three (3) competition games during any one (1) competition is automatically excluded from participating in semi-finals, finals or grand finals. These teams are to be notified after two (2) forfeits by the TNA Recording Officer. Any appeal must be registered with the TNA Secretary within seven (7) days of the third forfeit. Page 8 of 17

9 (h) A player whose name is listed on a forfeit score sheet is considered to have played in that time slot. (i) If a team has won/lost on a forfeit and a player is listed on their own team s scoresheet and no game or part of a game has taken place, that player may be legally borrowed by another team in the same time slot and listed as a borrowed player. (j) In the event that a team forfeits when a double round is played, ie two (2) games on the same day, then this will count as only one (1) forfeited game. (k) If a team fails or is unable to complete a game and leaves the court at any time during the game it will be deemed that the team unable to continue has forfeited. LOCAL RULE 12 - BORROWING PLAYERS (a) Teams may not borrow players from other clubs. (b) A players shall not play in a lower division to that in which they are registered. (c) A team must have four (4) of their registered team members present and ready to play before borrowing any players. Teams may borrow up to three (3) players to make up the seven (7) players in any one (1) game. All borrowed players must complete details on the scoresheet in the correct section. (d) No player arriving after play has started may replace a player who has filled the position of the late arrival, however the late arrival may be used as a substitute in accordance with Rules of Netball - Rule 9.1 : Substitution and Team Changes. Late Arrivals (Rule 9.2) should be noted on the score sheet. (e) Teams may borrow from the same division, or lower, provided that they have fewer than seven (7) of their own team members present and able to play. (f) Players may be borrowed from the same division or lower an unlimited amount of times. For semis-final, finals and grand finals players can only play in the team in which they were originally registered. (g) Players can only play for one team in each time slot. See Local Rule 11 Forfeits. (h) Borrowed players are required to wear the same registered uniform as the team in which they are playing. This includes the Net Set Go divisions. LOCAL RULE 13 - SCORERS (a) Each team set down to play will provide one (1) scorer each. (b) One (1) scorer only is to record the goals for the duration of the game. Both scorers are to sit together for the entire game. Page 9 of 17

10 (c) Scorers shall record any suspensions and/or ordering off of players which may occur. LOCAL RULE 14 - SCORE SHEETS (a) All registered player s names will be on a pre-printed scoresheet. Signatures and/or ticks must be completed. Late registrations/names cannot be written on scoresheets unless approved by the Recording Officer/Registrar. (b) Borrowed players names must also be recorded on the score sheet together with the name of the team from which they are borrowed and their division. Incorrect details will incur loss of points. (c) It is not permitted to write, tick or sign the name of a person on the score sheet if they do not take part in the game. Correct records are required for insurance purposes. (d) A player who has participated for part of a game is deemed to have played a whole game. (e) Scorers, Captains and Umpires must sign the scoresheet at the end of the game. (f) Injuries and complaints must be written on the back of scoresheet and signed. (g) Winning teams are to return the score sheet to the Recording Room (near court 2) immediately after that game. (h) Score sheets for the day will be placed on boards on the allocated courts prior to commencement of play. (i) The team name that appears first on the scoresheet is to considered the Light Team for electronic scoring purposes. LOCAL RULE 15 - COACHES Please read the Rules of Netball for all rules & procedures including Rule 9: DURING THE MATCH Substitutions and the Team Changes, Late Arrivals, Stoppages, Injury/Illness or Blood, Other Stoppages Pages LOCAL RULE 16 - UMPIRES (a) No official game shall be played without two (2) umpires. (b) A team rostered for umpiring is responsible for providing two (2) umpires to officiate at each game. (c) All teams involved in forfeits must provide umpires, as shown on the draw, for that day. 11 (d) The umpire shall not take part in the game. (e) Teams taking part in competition games conducted by the Association must perform such umpiring as is allocated to them. (f) The Umpires Committee will endeavour to allocate umpires for the whole competition once regrading has taken place, ensuring equitable distribution of umpiring for all teams. (g) Teams will lose one (1) point per umpire if they fail to fulfil their allocated duty. e.g. if both umpires fail to do their teams umpiring then two (2) points will be deducted per game. A fine of $10.00 per umpire will also apply. Teams will be notified by Umpire Coordinator or the delegated Committee member of need for payment before the next round of games. Fines are to be paid to the Lockwood Room to an Executive member. (h) Umpires are required to print their name on the umpire s book before the game commences and sign the score sheet immediately after the game is finished. Failure to print name on the umpire s book or sign the official score sheet will incur a loss of one (1) point per umpire. (i) If a team fails to fulfil individual umpiring duties six (6) times then that team will no longer be eligible to compete in semi-finals, finals or grand finals. (j) In the event that the umpires call an end to the game at any time, the score stands and will be deemed legal. The umpires are to immediately notify the Executive member on duty, the Competitions Co-ordinator and write reasons for the decision on the score sheet. LOCAL RULE 17 - POINTS AND PENALTIES (a) Points shall be awarded for competition games as follows: 3 points for a win or a win on forfeit (WOF) 2 points for a drawn game 1 point for a loss 0 points for loss on forfeit (LOF) 3 points for a bye (b) Penalties - Points shall be deducted for competition games as follows: (i) Failure to provide an umpire as listed on the draw = loss of 1 point and $10 fine per umpire Page 11 of 17

12 (ii) Failure to sign the Umpire s sign-on book or score sheet = loss of 1 point and $10 fine per umpire. (iii) Incorrect filling out of score sheet ie failure to sign/tick player s names = loss of 1 point. (iv) Unfinancial/unregistered players = loss of game points, ie, -3 points if team won or -1 point if team lost. The win and points will be awarded to the nonoffending team. (v) Ineligible player, ie a player borrowed illegally (See LOCAL RULE 12) = loss of game points, ie, -3 points if team won or -1 point if team lost. The win and points will be awarded to the non-offending team. (c) Club Contact will be notified via by Competitions Co-ordinator of any loss of points. (d) Teams have the right of appeal, in writing, within seven (7) days of losing points. (e) Points are to be available on a weekly basis online. (f) The Competitions Co-ordinator will have point scores/ladders available at Council meetings. LOCAL RULE 18 - WET WEATHER (a) Games not commenced because of wet weather shall be considered abandoned and no points given. (b) If play ceases before half-time, because of wet weather, no points will be awarded. (c) If play ceases at or after half time the result of the game shall be taken as per the score sheet at the time play was abandoned and win/loss points awarded. (d) If due to abandonment where not all games are played in any one division, only the remaining games in each division shall be played at a later date. (e) The Games Committee will be responsible for the rescheduling of games when outdoor play is deemed unsafe due to weather conditions. The wet weather draw will be made available at the beginning of the season. The duration of games will be determined by the Games Committee and court availability. (f) Two (2) officials appointed for such purpose shall make decisions regarding complete abandonment of play. (g) A decision regarding play on any one (1) particular court shall be made by the umpires and/or officials, or after a request by one (1) or both team captains. Page 12 of 17

13 (h) The round of games (Net-Set-Go and 10yrs), will be played indoors as per the Wet Weather Draw. All other games will be played as set down on the original draw for both outdoor and indoor games. In the event of extreme weather (lightning/thunder), games will be moved indoors and played as per the Wet Weather Draw. No games will be cancelled, if possible. LOCAL RULE 19 - INABILITY TO PLAY AS SPECIFIED ON DRAW (a) Special consideration may be given to post-play a game if it cannot be played by the specified date due to player s involvement with TNA representative commitments or major school excursions. (b) Application for a post-played game must be forwarded to the Secretary in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the original game date. (c) Teams seeking to pre-play a game must first notify the TNA Competitions Coordinator. (d) The team wishing to pre-play a game is then responsible for:- contacting the opposing team to arrange a mutually suitable time. collecting of the official score sheet from TNA Competitions Co-ordinator arranging two (2) umpires for that game. ensuring all details are correctly completed on the score sheet, including date, time and location. booking and paying for the courts at the Dome if applicable. (e) For both post-played and pre-played games, the winning team will return the official score sheet to the TNA Competitions Co-ordinator before the next competition game. Score sheets must be amended to indicate date, time and location of game played. (f) If no suitable time can be arranged, the team wishing the alteration will have to forfeit the game. (g) The Executive, Umpires and Council have the right to disqualify any game played without the official score sheet. LOCAL RULE 20 - INJURIES (a) All injuries must be noted on the official score sheet or attached to the official score sheet. (b) Play may be stopped for injury or illness, after a call for time by an on court player. (c) An umpire is required to hold time when a player who is bleeding is noticed and no on court player has called time. Page 13 of 17

14 (d) Injury time will not be added to games during the competition rounds. (e) All major injuries incurred in relation to netball are to be reported immediately to the Lockwood Room or Control Room as soon as possible. N.B. If in doubt do NOT move the injured person. Transfer the game to another court. (f) In the case of a serious injury an accurate account of the incident is to be recorded on a TNA Serious Injury Report form by the injured person or team representative and at least two (2) eye-witnesses. A simple diagram depicting the location of persons involved and witnesses is also required. (g) An injury claim form can be downloaded from the NetballNSW website or follow this link - See Insurance - General Information LOCAL RULE 21 - SEMI- FINALS, FINALS AND GRAND FINALS (a) The draw for semi-finals, finals and grand finals will be determined by the Games Committee at the conclusion of the competition rounds. (b) Players must have played in at least five (5) competition games in that team to qualify for semi- finals, finals and grand finals. (c) Teams may not borrow players for semi -finals, finals or grand finals. (d) Injury time will be played in the semi-finals, finals and grand finals. (e) In the event of Injury/Illness or Blood the player concerned must leave the court within 30 seconds and receive treatment off the court. Rules of Netball Rule Page 46. If the player concerned cannot be removed safely within 30 seconds, umpire will extend the time. N.B. If in doubt please DO NOT move the injured person. Transfer the game to another court. (f) Semi-finals, finals and grand finals are not to be played on the same weekend, except for wet weather. (g) Teams that finish on the same points will be determined on a for and against system to compete in semi-finals. (h) If games are drawn during semi-finals, finals and grand finals the procedure for extra time where a winner is required will be as per the Rules of Netball- pages 18/19 - Rule 4.2. i. There shall be a four (4) minute interval at the end of full time; Page 14 of 17

15 ii. iii. TNA INC. LOCAL RULES UPDATED Extra time consists of two halves of seven (7) minutes each, with an interval of one (1) minute at half-time. Teams shall change ends at half-time. The Centre Pass is taken by the team entitled to the next Centre Pass; During both of these intervals, substitutions and/or team changes may be made; iv. During extra time, normal injury/illness or blood procedures shall apply the player concerned must leave the court within 30 seconds and receive treatment off the court. Rules of Netball Rule Page 46. If the player concerned cannot be removed safely within 30 seconds, umpire will extend the time. N.B. If in doubt please DO NOT move the injured person. Transfer the game to another court. v. In the event of a tie remaining at the end of extra time, a visual signal shall be used to indicate that play shall continue until one team leads by two (2) goals. LOCAL RULE 22 - DISPUTES 24. (a) If a player or team is reported at any event under the control of the Association and action is taken, that player or team, both umpires and an official from each team involved shall be called before a Disputes Committee. (b) The Disputes Committee shall be a casual committee and consist of the President or another member of Executive Committee, a representative of the Umpires Committee and a representative from each of any two (2) clubs not involved in the dispute. N.B. The above also applies to coaches, except an official would come from the Coaching Committee in place of the Umpires Committee. Definition of Dispute Competition related offence or dispute means an action or actions that are not permitted within the rules and causes intentional harm (physical, emotional or verbal). (c) A penalty imposed with a Registered Member in relation to a disciplinary matter may be appealed through the Appeals Committee. Page 15 of 17

16 RULES FOR MONDAY NIGHT LADIES COMPETITION 1. Four competitions per year (in line with the School calendar) with separate team competition fee. Competition fees will be set at the November Council meeting. 2. All competition and registration fees to be paid prior to commencement of the first round of competition. Only Teams who are financial will be included in the draw. One (1) team member to collect the team entry fee for registration. 3. Team entry forms are available on the TNA Inc. website, the Netball office at the Dome and the Dome front desk. 4. ALL players must be registered and financial (To be ratified at April Council meeting) members of Netball NSW. Membership is completed online. Membership is paid annually and valid from 1st January to 31st December each year. 5. Competition is open for players turning 13 years and over. 6. Teams are requested to wear the same coloured top and appropriate footwear must be worn. 7. Bibs, balls and post padding will be provided. 8. Competitions will be played in accordance with the Rules of Netball -INF and TNA Local Rules. The exception to this is that gloves may be worn. PLEASE NOTE: This rule applies to Monday & Thursday competitions only. 9. Games will consist of 4 x 10 quarters with a 1 minute break at the end of first quarter and third quarter time and a 2 minute break at half-time. 10. Each team is to have one person responsible for scoring on the official score sheet provided and to keep time. Scorers are to ensure that score sheets are fully and accurately completed. See TNA Local Rule Two umpires will be allocated to each game, if possible. Please advise anyone who is available to umpire on your entry form. Umpires are paid per game according to their qualifications. 12. Prizes for winners and runners up for each Division will be awarded each term. 13. Points will be awarded and deducted as per TNA Local Rule Codes of Behaviour will apply at all times. 15. Teams that notify a forfeit by 4.00pm on the Sunday before game is due to be played, a fee of $25.00, where the forfeit notification occurs after 4pm on the Sunday before the game is due to be played a fee will be $50. The proceeds of the fines be refunded to the team receiving the forfeit on Monday nights. Page 16 of 17

17 RULES FOR THURSDAY LADIES AND MIXED NETBALL COMPETITIONS 1. Thursday Ladies and Mixed competitions are social competitions. No point scores/ladders are published, no prizes are awarded and games will be umpire your own. 2 These competitions are played in accordance with Monday Night Ladies Competition Rules, the Rules of Netball - INF and TNA Local Rules. NB Gloves may be worn. 3. As games are umpire your own, each team must supply one umpire. NB Umpires may be changed each quarter. 4. ALL players must be registered and financial members of Netball NSW. Membership is completed online. Membership is paid annually and valid from 1st January to 31st December each year. Non-compliance may lead to players being banned from TNA competitions at the discretion of TNA Executive. (To be ratified at April Council meeting) ADDITIONAL RULES FOR MIXED NETBALL 1. A maximum of three (3) males per team are allowed on the court at any one time. 2. Only one male is allowed in each Goal Circle, ie they can either play GS/GA or GK/GD. 3.
