1 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1/2/ NFL RECORDS & MILESTONES A sampling of NFL records set and milestones reached in 2013: THE TEAMS ARIZONA CARDINALS Head coach BRUCE ARIANS won 10 games with the Cardinals, joining NORM BARRY (11 wins in 1925) as the only head coaches in franchise history to win at least 10 games in their first season with the franchise. In Week 11, Arians (6-4) became the first Cardinals head coach to win at least six of his first 10 games since CHARLEY WINNER in 1966 (7-2-1). In Week 4, the Cardinals erased a 10+ point fourth-quarter deficit to win in regulation since December 28, 2003 against Minnesota. RB ANDRE ELLINGTON had an 80-yard TD run in Week 8 and WR MICHAEL FLOYD had a 91-yard touchdown catch in Week 9, as the Cardinals became the first team since the 1962 Denver Broncos to have a 90-yard touchdown reception and 80- yard touchdown run in the first 10 games of a season. In Week 15, Ellington (87 receiving yards; 71 rushing yards) joined Pro Football Hall of Famer OLLIE MATSON (October 26, 1952) as the only rookies in team history with at least 80 receiving yards and 70 rushing yards in a game. ATLANTA FALCONS QB MATT RYAN surpassed his own single-season club passing records for completions (439) and attempts (651). Last season, Ryan set the team marks with 422 completions and 615 attempts. WR RODDY WHITE (685) extended his franchise record for career receptions. TE TONY GONZALEZ (409) ranks fourth on the team s all-time receptions list. BALTIMORE RAVENS QB JOE FLACCO threw for 3,912 yards, the second-most in a season in team history (VINNY TESTAVERDE, 4,177 in 1996). WR TORREY SMITH recorded 1,128 receiving yards, the second-most receiving yards in a single-season in franchise history (MICHAEL JACKSON, 1,201 in 1996). K JUSTIN TUCKER (38) surpassed MATT STOVER (35 in 2000) for the most field goals made in a season in franchise history. BUFFALO BILLS QB EJ MANUEL recorded 11 touchdown passes, the most by a Bills rookie in franchise history (DENNIS SHAW, 10 IN 1970). He also had 180 completions, surpassing Shaw (178) for the most in ever by a Bills rookie. RB FRED JACKSON (5,127) joined Pro Football Hall of Famers THURMAN THOMAS (11,938) and O.J. SIMPSON (10,183) as the only players in franchise

2 history to reach 5,000 career rushing yards. CAROLINA PANTHERS The Panthers clinched the NFC South and secured a first-round bye, becoming the first team since the 2003 Philadelphia Eagles to earn a first-round bye after an 0-2 start. In Week 3, Carolina became the first team in over a decade to post a shutout victory of 38 points or more, record at least seven sacks and three turnovers, and hold an opponent to 150 total net yards in a game. The last club to accomplish the feat was the Atlanta Falcons against Carolina on November 24, In Week 15, RB DE ANGELO WILLIAMS became the first player in franchise history with at least 80 rushing (81) and 80 receiving (87) yards in the same game. Carolina tied the franchise single-season record with 60 sacks. In Week 17, the Panthers set a club single-game record with nine sacks. DE GREG HARDY tied the team s single-season record with 15 sacks (KEVIN GREENE, 1998). Hardy recorded a franchise single-game record four sacks in Week 17. DE CHARLES JOHNSON (11) became the first player in franchise history to record at least nine sacks in four consecutive years. CHICAGO BEARS Dating back to last season (Week 3) through Week 6 this season, Chicago s 11 interception-return touchdowns tied for the most over any 20-game span in NFL history. QB JAY CUTLER (14,913) surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer SID LUCKMAN (14,686) for the most passing yards in team history. WRs ALSHON JEFFERY (1,421) and BRANDON MARSHALL (1,295) became the first set of teammates in franchise history to each record 1,200+ receiving yards in the same season. Jeffery owns the two best receiving-yardage days in team history (249 in Week 13; 218 in Week 5). Marshall s 2,803 receiving yards are the most by a Bear in his first two seasons with the team. Marshall (100 catches) became the first player in Bears history with multiple 100- reception seasons (118 in 2012). His 12 receiving touchdowns are tied for the thirdmost in franchise history. KEN KAVANAUGH (1947) and DICK GORDON (1970) each had 13 touchdown catches. RB MATT FORTÉ rushed for 1,339 yards and caught 74 passes for 594 yards. Forté is the first Bear with at least 1,000 scrimmage yards in each of his first six seasons. He is the only Bear to record 1,000+ rushing yards and 500+ receiving yards in two seasons. CINCINNATI BENGALS The Bengals clinched first AFC North title since Finished 8-0 at home this season and became the third team in NFL history to score at least 40 points in four consecutive home games (1952 Detroit Lions; 2000 St. Louis Rams). In Week 3, the Bengals defeated Green Bay and became one of only three teams in NFL history to win a game after allowing 30 unanswered points (1951 Green Bay and 1999 Dallas). QB ANDY DALTON set the franchise record for passing yards (4,296) and touchdowns (33), surpassing CARSON PALMER s 4,131 yards in 2007 and 32

3 touchdowns in Dalton is (.625) as a starter, the highest winning percentage by a Bengals quarterback in franchise history (minimum 20 starts). WR A.J. GREEN s 1,426 receiving yards are the third-most in a season in club annals behind CHAD JOHNSON (1,440 in 2007; 1,432 in 2005). WR MARVIN JONES caught four touchdowns in Week 8, the most receiving touchdowns in a single game in Bengals history. RB GIOVANI BERNARD (1,209) became the first Bengals rookie running back to reach 1,000 scrimmage yards since COREY DILLON in 1997 (1,388). In Week 2, Bernard became the first Bengal rookie to have a rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game since November 19, 1989 (CRAIG TAYLOR). CLEVELAND BROWNS QB BRIAN HOYER became the first player since Pro Football Hall of Famer OTTO GRAHAM (1950) to throw at least three touchdown passes in his first NFL game with Cleveland. WR JOSH GORDON led the NFL in receiving yards (1,646) and is the first player in franchise history to lead the league in receiving yards in a season. Gordon s 1,646 receiving yards are the most in a single-season in franchise history. He set a single-game franchise record with 261 receiving yards in Week 13. Gordon (87) and TE JORDAN CAMERON (80) are the second duo in franchise history with at least 80 receptions each in a season (KELLEN WINSLOW, 82 & BRAYLON EDWARDS, 80 in 2007). Cameron caught seven touchdowns, trailing Pro Football Hall of Famer OZZIE NEWSOME (nine in 1979) for the most by a tight end in a season in club history. LB BARKEVIOUS MINGO (five) finished second among AFC rookies in sacks. DALLAS COWBOYS In Week 5, QB TONY ROMO passed for a franchise-record 506 yards. In Week 5, three Cowboys had at least 120 receiving yards and a touchdown TERRANCE WILLIAMS (151 yards, one touchdown), DEZ BRYANT (141 yards, two touchdowns) and JASON WITTEN (121 yards, one touchdown) becoming the third team ever to accomplish the feat in a single game (1961 Houston Oilers, 2013 New England). Terrance Williams is the only rookie in franchise history to record a touchdown catch in four consecutive games (Weeks 5-8). Bryant had 93 receptions for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns this season and is the first Cowboy to record consecutive seasons with at least 90 catches, 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. Bryant s 13 touchdown catches are tied for the third-most in team history (TERRELL OWENS, 15 in 2007; FRANK CLARKE, 14 in 1962). Witten extended his franchise record for receptions to 879. DENVER BRONCOS Denver scored 606 points, surpassing the 2007 New England Patriots (589) for the most in a season in NFL history. The Broncos 37.9 points per game average is the second-highest scoring average of any NFL team, trailing only the 1950 Los Angeles Rams (38.8). Dating back to last season, Denver won 15 consecutive regular-season games and each by at least seven points, the second-longest streak in NFL history ( Chicago Bears, 16 games). The Broncos scored 50 or more points in three different games (Week 4, 52; Week 5,

4 51; Week 14, 51), becoming the fifth team in NFL history to accomplish the feat in a single season and the first since Denver became the third team in NFL history to score at least 30 points in each of its first eight games (2000 St. Louis Rams; 2007 New England Patriots). The Broncos became the first team in NFL history to have five players score at least 10 touchdowns in the same season DEMARYIUS THOMAS (14), KNOWSHON MORENO (13), JULIUS THOMAS (12), ERIC DECKER (11) and WES WELKER (10). No other NFL team has had more than three different players score at least 10 touchdowns in a season in NFL history. On Kickoff Weekend, D. Thomas, J. Thomas and Welker each had two touchdown catches, joining the 1989 Cincinnati Bengals as the only teams to have three different players with multiple touchdown receptions in the same game. Denver recorded the second-most total yards per game (457.3) in a single-season in NFL history (2011 New Orleans Saints, 467.1). QB PEYTON MANNING (5,477, 55) surpassed his own franchise records he set last season for most passing yards (4,659) and touchdowns (37) in a season. D. Thomas (1,430) reached 1,400 receiving yards for the second time in his career and is the first Bronco to accomplish the feat in two seasons. His 14 touchdown catches are tied for the club record in a season (ANTHONY MILLER, 14). J. Thomas (12) surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer SHANNON SHARPE (10 in 1998 and 1996) for the most touchdown catches by a tight end in a season in franchise history. In Week 13, Decker registered a Broncos single-game record with four touchdown receptions. DETROIT LIONS In Week 3, won at Washington for the first time in team history and defeated the Redskins franchise on the road for the first time since 1935 (October 13) when Detroit registered a 17-7 win in Boston over the Boston Redskins. QB MATTHEW STAFFORD (17,457) surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer BOBBY LAYNE (15,710) for the most passing yards in franchise history. Stafford needed 55 games to surpass Layne s mark, which was set in 97 games. Stafford (4,650) recorded his third consecutive season with at least 4,500 passing yards, the only such seasons in franchise history. RB REGGIE BUSH became the second player in franchise history with at least 1,000 rushing yards (1,006) and 500 receiving yards (506) in the same season (BILLY SIMS, 1980). LB DE ANDRE LEVY had a career-high six interceptions, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer JOE SCHMIDT for the most interceptions in a season by a Lions linebacker. DE ZIGGY ANSAH led NFL rookies with eight sacks. GREEN BAY PACKERS The Packers won the NFC North division for the third consecutive season. The club is making its 29th playoff appearance, the third-most in NFL history. In Week 2, QB AARON RODGERS passed for 480 yards and RB JAMES STARKS rushed for 132 yards, becoming the first team in NFL history with a 450-yard passer and 125-yard rusher in the same game. RB EDDIE LACY rushed for 1,178 yards this season, breaking JOHN BROCKINGTON s franchise rookie record of 1,105 rushing yards set in Lacy set a franchise rookie record with 11 rushing touchdowns.

5 Lacy became the first Packers rookie since Brockington in 1971 to rush for at least 99 yards in consecutive games (Week 5, 99; Week 6, 120). HOUSTON TEXANS The Texans became the first team since the 1970 merger to win each of its first two games of the season on the game s final play. WR ANDRE JOHNSON extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 117. WR DE ANDRE HOPKINS 52 receptions and 802 receiving yards are the secondmost by a rookie in franchise history (Andre Johnson, 66 catches and 976 yards in 2003). DE J.J. WATT (10.5) became the second player in franchise history with consecutive 10+ sack seasons (MARIO WILLIAMS, ). INDIANAPOLIS COLTS The Colts clinched the AFC South title for the eighth time since Indianapolis became the first team in NFL history to have two players record 1,000 receptions with the franchise (MARVIN HARRISON, 1,102; REGGIE WAYNE, 1,006). WR T.Y. HILTON (1,944) surpassed BILL BROOKS (1,853) for the most receiving yards in a player s first two seasons in team history. LB ROBERT MATHIS has 111 career sacks, surpassing DWIGHT FREENEY s club record for career sacks (107.5). Mathis 19.5 sacks this season surpassed Freeney s franchise record for sacks in a single season (16), earning him the inaugural Deacon Jones Award. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS QB CHAD HENNE passed for 3,241 yards and became the first Jaguar to throw for 3,000 passing yards since 2009 (DAVID GARRARD, 3,597). RB MAURICE JONES-DREW has 81 total touchdowns, the most in franchise history. C BRAD MEESTER holds the franchise record for games played (209). LB PAUL POSLUSZNY (161) registered 100+ tackles for the sixth consecutive season. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Kansas City s 11 wins tied for the most by a team that won two or fewer games the previous season (2008 Miami Dolphins and 2012 Indianapolis Colts). The Chiefs became the first team in the four professional sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) to start a season 9-0 after finishing with the worst record in the previous year. The Chiefs also became the first NFL club since 1934 to start 9-0 and not allow more than 17 points in any of the first nine games. The Chiefs scored 35 first-half points in Week 14 and 15 and are the only team in NFL history to score at least 35 points in the first half of consecutive games. They also accomplished the feat in 2002 (Week 13 and 14). Head coach ANDY REID (151) became the 21st coach in NFL history to win 150 games (including playoffs). Reid is the third head coach in NFL history to win his first nine games with a new team, joining JIM CALDWELL (14 with the 2009 Indianapolis Colts) and WALLY LEMM (nine with the 1961 Houston Oilers). QB ALEX SMITH rushed for 431 yards, the most by a quarterback in franchise history (TYLER THIGPEN, 386 in 2008). WR DWAYNE BOWE (6,401) surpassed CARLOS CARSON (6,360) for the fourthmost receiving yards in franchise history.

6 MIAMI DOLPHINS Miami started the season 3-0 for the first time since In Week 9, the Dolphins earned a overtime victory over Cincinnati as defensive end CAMERON WAKE recorded a safety, the third overtime game in NFL history that ended with a safety. QB RYAN TANNEHILL threw for 3,913 yards and joined Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN MARINO as the only quarterbacks in team history to pass for at least 3,900 yards in a season. Tannehill became the first Dolphins quarterback to pass for at least 3,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. He is the second quarterback in franchise history to throw for more than 3,000 yards in multiple seasons (Marino, 13). TE CHARLES CLAY had the second-most receptions (69) and receiving yards (759) by a tight end in a season in team history (RANDY MC MICHAEL, 73 receptions and 791 yards in 2004). MINNESOTA VIKINGS Rookie KR CORDARRELLE PATTERSON led the NFL with a 32.4 kickoff-return average and is the first Viking to accomplish the feat. In Week 7, CB-PR MARCUS SHERELS scored on an 86-yard punt-return touchdown, the third longest in franchise history. It marked his second career punt-return touchdown, tied for the most in franchise history. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS Head coach BILL BELICHICK surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer CHUCK NOLL (209) and moved into fifth-place all-time with 217 career victories (including postseason). The Patriots reached 10 regular-season wins for the 11th consecutive season, joining the San Francisco 49ers ( ; 16) as the only teams in NFL history to record 11 consecutive 10-win seasons. New England won 15 consecutive home games against AFC East opponents and became the fifth team since 1970 to win at least 15 consecutive home games against division opponents. In Weeks 12-14, New England tied an NFL record with three consecutive wins in which it trailed by at least 10 points in the second half and became the first team to do so since the 2000 Kansas City Chiefs. In Week 9, three Patriots had at least 120 receiving yards and a touchdown ROB GRONKOWSKI (nine catches, 143 yards, one touchdown), AARON DOBSON (five catches, 130 yards, two touchdowns) and DANNY AMENDOLA (four catches, 122 yards, one touchdown) becoming the third team ever to accomplish the feat in a single game (1961 Houston Oilers, 2013 Dallas). WR JULIAN EDELMAN (105) joined TROY BROWN and WES WELKER as the only Patriots to record 100 receptions in a single season. CB LOGAN RYAN led NFL rookies with five interceptions this season. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS In Week 10, New Orleans set an NFL single-game record with 40 first downs. DE CAMERON JORDAN (12.5) and LB JUNIOR GALETTE (12) are the first Saints duo to each record at least 12 sacks in a season since 2000 (LA ROI GLOVER, 17; JOE JOHNSON, 12). NEW YORK GIANTS The Giants became the second team in NFL history to lose its first six games and win the next four (2009 Tennessee). Kickoff Weekend marked the first time in franchise history that three different players VICTOR CRUZ (118 yards), HAKEEM NICKS (114) and RUEBEN RANDLE (101)

7 each had at least 100 receiving yards. QB ELI MANNING (35,345) surpassed PHIL SIMMS (33,462) for the most passing yards in franchise history. Manning (5,008) also surpassed Simms (4,647) for the most passing attempts in club history. NEW YORK JETS New York s defense allowed the fewest rushing yards per game (88.3) in the AFC. The team s offense averaged rushing yards per game, the second best in the AFC. QB GENO SMITH (3,046) threw for the most passing yards by a rookie in franchise history (MARK SANCHEZ, 2,444 in 2009). On Kickoff Weekend, Geno Smith and the Jets became the first team since the merger to open the season with a one-point win when starting a rookie QB. LB DAVID HARRIS (123) led the team in tackles for the fifth consecutive season. K NICK FOLK s streak of 23 field goals made in a row to start the season was the longest in franchise history. OAKLAND RAIDERS QB TERRELLE PRYOR (576) surpassed RICH GANNON (529 in 2000) for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a season in team history. In Week 8, Pryor had a 93-yard touchdown run, surpassing BO JACKSON (92 yards, November 5, 1989) for the longest rushing touchdown by a Raider. QB MATT MC GLOIN made his first career start in Week 11 and became the first undrafted rookie quarterback to throw at least three touchdown passes and no interceptions in a single game in the common draft era (since 1967). PHILADELPHIA EAGLES The Eagles won the NFC East after finishing in last place last season. Philadelphia set franchise records for points scored (442), total net yards (6,676) and total touchdowns (53). Team had 4,110 passing yards and 2,566 rushing yards, joining the 1998 San Francisco 49ers as only teams with 4,000 passing yards and 2,500 rushing yards in a single-season. The Eagles are the first team ever to have a quarterback with a 100+ rating (NICK FOLES, 119.2), a 1,500-yard rusher (LE SEAN MC COY, 1,607) and a 1,300-yard receiver (DE SEAN JACKSON, 1,332). Philadelphia is one of four teams in NFL history to gain at least 400 yards in each of its first six games, joining the 2013 Denver Broncos, 2007 New England Patriots and 1983 San Diego Chargers. Head coach CHIP KELLY became the first rookie head coach in franchise history to win a division title in his first season. Foles passer rating surpassed DONOVAN MC NABB s single-season club record set in 2004 (104.7). McCoy led the NFL this season with 1,607 rushing yards and 2,146 scrimmage yards. He is the first Eagle to lead the league in both rushing and scrimmage yards since Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE VAN BUREN in McCoy s 1,607 rushing yards are the most in a season in franchise history. His 2,146 scrimmage yards surpassed BRIAN WESTBROOK (2,104 in 2007) for the singleseason club record.

8 In Week 14, McCoy set the single-game franchise record with 217 rushing yards, surpassing the previous mark of 205 yards by Van Buren on November 27, Jackson s 1,332 receiving yards are the second-most in Eagles history (MIKE QUICK, 1,409 in 1983). Including the postseason, LB TRENT COLE (80.5) joined Pro Football Hall of Famer REGGIE WHITE (128) as the only Eagles players to reach 80 career sacks. PITTSBURGH STEELERS QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER (219) surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer TERRY BRADSHAW (212) for the most touchdown passes in Steelers history. Roethlisberger extended his franchise record for most passing yards (34,105). Roethlisberger threw for 4,261 yards, trailing his own single-season club record of 4,328 passing yards in WR ANTONIO BROWN (1,499) surpassed YANCEY THIGPEN (1,398) for the most receiving yards in a season in Steelers history. His 110 receptions this season were the second-most in franchise history (HINES WARD, 112 in 2002). Rookie RB LE VEON BELL (1,259) surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer FRANCO HARRIS (1,235 in 1972) for the most scrimmage yards by a Steelers rookie. ST. LOUIS RAMS Head coach JEFF FISHER joined Pro Football Hall of Famer CURLEY LAMBEAU as the only head coaches in NFL history to face a team that he led for at least 17 seasons (Week 9 vs. Tennessee). DE ROBERT QUINN led the NFC and finished second in the league with 19 sacks, surpassing the single-season franchise record (17) set by KEVIN CARTER in RB ZAC STACY had consecutive 100-yard games in Week 8 and 9 and Week 15 and 16, joining STEVEN JACKSON (2004) are the only rookies in franchise history with consecutive 100-yard rushing games. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS San Diego reached the postseason for the first time since QB PHILIP RIVERS (221) surpassed JOHN HADL (201) for the second-most career touchdown passes in Chargers annals, trailing Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN FOUTS (254). Rivers 32,369 career passing yards are second in club history (Fouts, 43,040). RB RYAN MATHEWS (1,255) is the first Charger to reach 1,200 rushing yards since LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON in 2007 (1,474). WR KEENAN ALLEN led NFL rookies with 71 receptions and 1,046 receiving yards, surpassing Tomlinson (59 catches in 2001) and JOHN JEFFERSON (1,001 yards in 1978) for the most receptions and receiving yards by a Chargers rookie. Allen set the franchise rookie record for most 100-yard receiving games in a season (five). SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS The 49ers clinched third consecutive playoff appearance. Head coach JIM HARBAUGH became the first head coach in franchise history to lead the 49ers to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons. In Week 8, Harbaugh (30-9-1) won his 30th regular-season game and became the fourth-fastest head coach to reach the milestone since QB COLIN KAEPERNICK threw for 3,197 yards and rushed for 524 yards, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG (1992) as the only 49ers with at least 3,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards in the same season. RB FRANK GORE recorded his franchise-record seventh 1,000-yard season (1,128).

9 TE VERNON DAVIS (13) tied his team record for most receiving touchdowns by a tight end in a season (2009). SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Started 11-1 for the first time in franchise history. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS In Week 9 against Tampa Bay, the Seahawks overcame a 21-point deficit, the largest comeback victory in franchise history. CB RICHARD SHERMAN led the NFL with eight interceptions and became the first Seahawk to accomplish the feat since EUGENE ROBINSON (nine in 1993) tied for the league lead. WR VINCENT JACKSON had 1,224 receiving yards and is the first player in franchise history with consecutive 1,200-yard seasons (1,384 receiving yards in 2012). In Week 11, RB BOBBY RAINEY became the first player in franchise history with at least two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown in the same game. LB LAVONTE DAVID is the first player in club history with at least 100 tackles (143), six sacks (six) and two interceptions (five) in a season. TENNESSEE TITANS The Titans tied the 1995 St. Louis Rams (four games) for the longest streak without a turnover to begin a season in NFL history. RB CHRIS JOHNSON (1,077) recorded his sixth consecutive season with 1,000 rushing yards, surpassing EDDIE GEORGE (five) for the most consecutive seasons with 1,000 rushing yards in franchise history. Johnson (50) joined Pro Football Hall of Famer EARL CAMPBELL (73) and George (64) as the only running backs in franchise history to reach 50 career touchdowns. WR KENDALL WRIGHT caught 94 passes, becoming the fifth different player in club history to reach 90 receptions in a season. Wright (1,079) is the first Titans player to reach 1,000 receiving yards in a season since 2011 (NATE WASHINGTON, 1,023). DT JURRELL CASEY (10.5) joined RAY CHILDRESS (13 in 1992) as the second defensive tackle in franchise history to reach double-digit sacks. WASHINGTON REDSKINS WR PIERRE GARÇON led the NFL with 113 receptions and is the first Redskin to lead the league in receptions since Pro Football Hall of Famer ART MONK in 1984 (106).
