13 2009 Fayetteville Bulldog Football Contract As a member of the FHS football team, I realize the expectations, responsibilities, and roles expected of me are above and beyond those of most high school students. I further realize that, being a part of a team, the team comes first. I must put aside my individual concerns for the team and in doing what is best for the team. I also realize that I will be provided guidance from the coaching staff as to what my role will be in helping the team reach and achieve its goal. Following is a list of behaviors that will or will not be expected from a Bulldog Football Player. This list is not all-inclusive, and other things may be considered, with the backbone of all decisions being-what is best for the team? I will accept whatever role is given to me: Varsity player, JV player, Sophomore player, Starter, substitute, dress out on sideline, practice player Defense, offense. Special team, etc I will be a positive force on and off the field for the team. Encourage teammates to do their best on and off the field. Be a positive role model in school. Cheer teammates when I am not in the game. Do not sulk on the sidelines when I am not in the game. Do not show anger or disgust for being taken out of game.
14 2009 Fayetteville Bulldog Football Contract I will put team goals before individual goals. The team is more important than me. Do not sulk in the Field house after a game (especially a game we win.) I will avoid calling attention to myself, as it separates me from my teammates. I will attend all practices. Let coaches know, in advance, when and why you cannot attend a practice. Be a hard worker in practice. I will take pride in being a member of the Bulldog Football Team. At all times I will make every effort to Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Together, and Have Fun!! ( player signature) (date) (parent signature) (date)
