2 2018 TAAF 6 & Under Youth Basketball Tournament DATES: DIVISIONS: AGE: ENTRY FEE: DEADLINE: March 10-11, 2018 Boys/Girls 6 & Under (Invitational Tournament) Age is determined by the participant s age on September 1 of the current school year (9/1/17) $150 per team Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 12:00 pm (noon) ENTRY PROCEDURE: Entry form, entry fee and certified roster and birth certificates are due by March 6th ENTRY LOCATION: Team Entry Location: Registration and payment through TGYBL: Certified Roster and Birth Certificates Submitted to: TGYBL info@tgybl.com Phone: FORMAT/BRACKET: RULES: ROSTERS: AWARDS: MANAGER S MEETING: GAME TIMES: 3-game guarantee; pool play into single elimination bracket. Tournament brackets available on-line Thursday, March 8 at 5:00pm. Brackets will be posted at TAAF Youth Basketball Rules (modified for 6u play) Rosters must be turned in with registration by March 6th The following awards will be presented: Individual medals: Champion and Runner-Up. (All athletes will receive a participation medal). Champion Team Award & Runner-Up Team Award. There will not be a mandatory Coaches Meeting, however, all teams must have all rosters/birth certificates and fees turned in by March 6th. All teams will play both Saturday and Sunday. 2

3 UNIFORMS: EQUIPMENT: ADMISSION: PROTESTS: Each team must provide their own set of uniforms with permanently fixed numbers on the front and back per the TAAF Cavalcade. The official game ball will be provided. Teams must provide their own warm-up basketballs General Admission: $6 *Note: All teams will play both Saturday and Sunday. All protests must be filed by the end of the game. ONLY A COACH CAN FILE A PROTEST. Judgment calls are not a basis for protests. You must notify the officials and scorekeeper so that the protest is noted in the book. Please complete a protest form and submit with $75 fee (cash).
