Position of chairman to be discussed in any other business. 2. Treasurers Report CH confirmed that North Bucks has a healthy bank balance with committed monies also showing. Please see attachment for break down on where monies have been spent and committed. 3. Umpiring Secretary Report Carolyn Davies joined the North Bucks Committee in July 2013 as Umpiring Secretary. NP confirmed the following has progressed over the last year - 39 players were selected to the academies in July Athletes made it through to the end of the season, - Athletes either left part way through the season, never started after trials or left after nonselection for regional festival. - Next season there will be a cut of athletes part way through the season if they are not meeting the expectations of a performance athlete in our academies. - North Bucks have a new contract with England Netball for the 2014/15 season a new corporate image for the academies across the country will mean that coaches will be provided with England Academies kit and each girl will have their own Netball First ( New name for the England Performance Pathway). - This year North Bucks had a young county squad, with only 1 player being 16 years old. - The satellite squad will most probably be very young next year with athletes at 12 and 13
4 years old and half of the county academy will be in year 11 (15/16 years olds). This means that the squads are now balanced as England Netball would prefer it with year olds (year 7/8) in the Satellite Academy and year olds (Year 10/11) in the County Academy.
