Please provide answers to the following questions: 1. What is the starting date for practice in your state for boys basketball? 2. What is the starting date for practice in your state for girls basketball? 3. What is the concluding date of your state association tournament for boys basketball? 4. What is the concluding date of your state association tournament for girls basketball? Comments State 1: 1. The starting date for boys basketball practice to begin for the season is Monday, November 3 rd, which aligns with the 18 th week on the NFHS standardized calendar. 2. The starting date for girls basketball practice to begin for the season is Monday, November 3 rd, which aligns with the 18 th week on the NFHS standardized calendar. 3. The concluding date for the last AIA State Boys Basketball Tournament game is Wednesday, March 4, The concluding date for the last AIA State Girls Basketball Tournament game is Wednesday, March 4, State 2: 1. Boys start practice December 1 and last day to count is March 3 2. However, in order to have the state tournament in the largest and best facility in the State, we are locked in to the NCAA schedule when conference tournaments are going on and the UNM Lobos are away.
