Of the nine selected, five are from South. (Sorry for the earlier misspelling of your surname Janice) Other news Match Committee Any Club member interested in match committee work or information on draws and laws are invited to a meeting on: playing for the club in Interclub Competition. Men s locker room The part that has been used for storage is no longer available and there will be no lockers available in the alley way. Forty (40) lockers in the foyer to the locker room can be used. There is a list on the wall please put your name down to have one allocated to you as soon as possible. Membership changes New Full members Monday 12 th September 2016 at 9.00am at Tauranga Domain Bowling Club. Bay of Plenty Representation Any Male Players interested in trialling for places in BOP Rep Teams (Open and 8yrs and under) can complete application forms found on the Club notice board. They are to be ed or posted to the Centre Secretary. Applications close this week. Mary-Ann Catley has just received a new shipment of 'Spirulina' and 'Tumeric & Kampot Pepper' [TKP] from Global Superfoods Cambodia. Teams are published in this newsletter and on the notice board at the club. Any player selected but not available for the 24 th Sept please advise Marilyn, Mary-Anne, Derek or Bryan immediately. 4 Please note: if you are an appointed Manager of a Team, there is a sheet listing your responsibilities, on the notice board next to the published teams (and also shown below). Those players listed as reserves, will be given a place in teams in later rounds. There is an entry fee of $5 per player each day (collected by the team manager). This goes to our club to fund the aftermatch BBQ and Player of the Day drinks. Selectors: Marilyn McLeod, Mary-Ann Catley, Lennie Simons, Bryan Duffin, and Derek Dean. In Hospital If you know that one of our members is in hospital, please let Robyn Matthews-Hunt know, the Club or Jan visiting can then be arranged. Side Manager s duties Check availability of players prior to each Saturday Check transport arrangements where necessary Advise Selectors if further players are required Take the toss to establish the opening play for the side Ensure all names are on the score cards and cards are completed in full Collect $5 off each player and hand to Club Treasurer at the end of each days play Provide encouragement and possible guidelines to team members Read and fully understand tournament rules and playing conditions, conveying these to the team as required At the end of days play collect ALL result cards and result sheets from venue controller and bring them back to Tauranga South and give to Eddie Ashcroft At the end of each days play confirm the player availability for the next fixture TSBC Newsletter 5th September
