3 2. Final registration The final date for registration is Tuesday, 6 February. Each team should use the specific registration form and organize their athletes according to the drawing scheme. The registration form shall be sent to njakobj@gmail.com Dinner on Sunday 11 February should also be booked latest 6 February. 3. General information The Arena (IFU Arena) The arena plan is shown in Appendix 1 with all needed information. The address is Råbyvägen 77, Uppsala, Sweden. ( City bus No. 3 to IFU Arena from City center (bus marked Nyby and the stop is Lagerlöfsgatan ). Hotel: All teams stay at Arenahotellet ( about two minutes walking time from IFU Arena. Address: Edith Södergrans gata 6, Uppsala, Sweden. Saturday 10 February Team meetings at the team hotel are scheduled as follows: Norway: 21:00-22:00 Finland: 18:00-19:00 Denmark/Iceland: 19:00-20:00 and 13:30-14:30 Sweden: 20:00-21:00 Press conference: Saturday 10 February at 15:30 at the shopping center Gränby Centrum (Evenemangstorget). We expect all nations to bring the Head Coach and 2-4 athletes. Transportation service available from the hotel at 15:10. Technical meeting: Will take place at 17:00 Saturday 10 February at Arenahotellet. Each country can participate with four persons. Agenda: 1. Chairman of the meeting 2. 4 Training on Saturday: IFU Arena will be open and it will be possible to use the dressing rooms and visit the field of play for warm-up and training 15:00-20:00. Long jump and Triple jump pits will be closed. Shot put training in the competition throwing circle can take place between 15:00 and 17:00. The warm-up area, that has five straight 100m lanes, will also be open for warm-up and training. There will be two places for weight lifting in the gym. Poles for pole vault should be brought directly through the door marked on the map (Appendix 1) on Saturday. Call Siv Jönsson ( ) for access. No poles are allowed to bring into the hotel. 5. Sunday 11 February Accreditation: You need your accreditation to get into the arena and warm-up area and to get food at the restaurant. Dressing room: All four teams will have their own dressing rooms marked with a flag on the door. Entering the arena: An official will accompany the athletes from the calling area to the field of play. Leaving the arena: Athletes shall leave the field of play directly after the event is finished through the mixed zone. Warm up clothes: In the running events there will be baskets for clothes etc. They will be taken to the mixed zone after start. Calling: Will be in the warm up area. Running events: 10 minutes prior to start Field events except Pole vault: 30 minutes prior to start Pole vault: 45 minutes prior to start Athletes are allowed to wear spikes in the area between calling and competition. Spikes: Maximal length of the spikes is 7 mm. 200m will be run in three heats. Lanes 2-4 will be used. Teams are recommended to place their best runner in heats 2-3, lanes m will be run in two heats. All lanes will be used. Teams are recommended to place their best runner in heat m: The athletes will be divided into two groups. Runners in lane order 1-5 (1-6 in races with pacemaker) will start on the regular arced start line and runners in lane order 6-8 (7-8 + the pacemaker in races with pacemaker) on the separate arced start line marked across the outer half of the track. The break line will be marked with small cones. Pacemaker: Pacemakers may be used in middle distance events. Final decision will be taken during the Technical meeting. Jumping/throwing order Rule (a) will not be used. The athletes will compete in the same order through all six rounds of the long jump, triple jump and shot put. Starting heights and progression in vertical jump events Will be decided after final entries. Implement List: Iron shots will be used. The fee is 800 SEK in cash. Coaches seats: See the map in Appendix 1 for coach seats for respective technical events. Athlete s stands: The main tribune is only for spectators. The stand behind the shot put field will be used for teams.

6 Medical care: There will be a competition doctor and a therapist at the Arena between :00. They will be located at the mixed zone. Antidoping: Some tests will be performed. For national records, please order the test with the competition secretary. The cost for these tests will be invoiced to the federations. Results: Will be announced on the big screen in the arena. Results will also be out on the web as soon as the results are confirmed. Team results will be announced after every event on the main scoreboard. Opening ceremony: There will be an opening ceremony. Two athletes from each country together with young athletes from the organizing club will enter the track with the different teams flags. The Swedish national anthem will be performed followed by a welcome speech for about one minute. Closing ceremony: The National anthem of the winning nation/nations will be played and the team can run a lap of honor. Best performance awards: 1 Man and 1 Woman on each team will be selected by the four head coaches. The award will be handed out by the head coaches during the closing ceremony.
