2 On behalf of the entire Westerville Warcats Hockey Association, I would like to once again congratulate all of you on a successful season. We have a great group of players and families. It s fantastic to see the participation stay at a high with both a full varsity and JV squad. This year we had a glimpse at many of the future Warcats during Hockey Night In Westerville and it looks like we will be growing even more. Congratulations to the teams for their hard-fought competitive play throughout the season. It truly takes a great deal of work to make this successful. Thanks to all of you for your ideas, dedication and perseverance in support of our hockey organization. The focus of the Warcats organization is on team and individual play. This focus has been and will be developed through practice, hard work and game situations. Competitive play emphasizes sportsmanship, cooperation, self-discipline, self-confidence, individual responsibility and respect for others while experiencing quality hockey. Success can be measured in many ways. Individual growth, teamwork, camaraderie, integrity and sportsmanship are equally important to the success of our team and to success in life. Players and parents will take many lessons learned at the rink with them as they advance through life. As I reflect on this season, I have watched skills get better, systems come together, efforts payoff, success at tournaments and enjoyable battles in our league. Our organization has had players and parents join together to fundraise, volunteer, help with stats, work the penalty box, run the scoreboard, fill the water bottles and organize parties. I have been in and out of hockey since I was 5 years old and am very proud to be a part of the Westerville Warcats organization. Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who have made this season enjoyable. There is more effort behind the scenes than most are aware, and without the patience and dedication of parents, coaches, board members, volunteers and players, none of this would be possible. I want to thank all of our new and returning sponsors who continue to step up this year, after year helping make our finances more controllable and our costs to the families more affordable. These sponsors are highlighted in the yearbook and I know they would appreciate your patronage. To our seniors: I am proud to have you as leaders of our organization. You have set a great example through leadership, work ethic and team play. I hope you enjoy this evening with your team as we celebrate your accomplishments and your growth as young men. I believe that your experiences, memories, and friendships with this sport will stay with you your entire life. I hope you take the lessons you have learned and apply them as you move forward. I hope that you will continue to support the Westerville Warcats as alumni and hope to see you on the ice for the alumni game. I know that we are a better, stronger organization for having had your involvement. Thank You, Kevin Vititoe, President, Westerville Warcats Hockey Association 1

The boys attended practices with the JV team throughout the season, got to know the coaches and players, and worked on the skills necessary to be successful in high school hockey. We hope this program will continue to encourage a steady flow of Bantam players who are better prepared to enter the Warcats hockey family.
