If there is nly 1 team, we are nt welcme t participate in the league. - Black Gld is fine with nt having any teams in BGL, depending upn what decisins are made. - If RDR des nt participate in BGL, there still needs t be Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 teams. - If players evaluate as Stage 3, they have t play n a Stage 3 team. Once teams are created, then it is up t the team t decide if travelling r nt. - Discussin abut U10 reprt: If Stage 3 decides nt t travel, there are pprtunities t play U12 B and C teams, in additin t turnaments. There may be additinal turnament pprtunities fr Stage 3 teams next year. Sme cncern was identified arund hw easily multiple RDR teams can get int turnaments. Candy presented 2 chices nce we knw evaluatins and see hw many players end up in each gruping. Then make a decisin where they play. Questins asked abut hw many kids need t evaluate in each Stage t make a full team. The Stage 3 team will receive a scre based n the individual scre f all the players. This is the aggregate scre that will be used t get placed int turnaments. It the decisin is t stay lcal, the league can determine hw many teams f each stage are in the league, s there may be sme stage 3 teams with a number f Stage 2 players in rder t create 3 Stage 3 teams. 2 P a g e

Treasurer s Reprt: - Balance Sheet and Incme statement presented fr July 31/14 Balance sheet shws apprximately $70,000 in varius accunts /14 Incme Statement shws a cmparisn ver the last year: Higher enrllment in 14/15, new spnsrs jining, Turnament incme nw shws full revenue and expenses, previus years shwed net revenue nly, s that shws a difference. Jersey csts were higher this year because a number f jerseys needed replacement. Ice csts went up $20,000 frm previus year. Marketing expenses were increased due t 50 years f Ringette Canada Prvincial csts increased but nt a full reflectin f actual csts, as turnament seed mney fr hsting teams in included in that expense. Prvincial hsting csts did increase because the frmat was changed by Alberta Ringette fr prepayment f team fees Referee csts were increased mre teams, mre ice Net incme is negative year after year We d a lt f fund raising, Oilers 50/50, turnament, pub night, hwever the reserve will nt cntinue t sustain this lss year after year. Gift cards and pub night funds are in a separate accunt s nt shwing up n incme statement, hwever a manual transfer entry is dne annually. - Discussin abut financials: Ice csts are smewhere we culd save funds. Hwever, if we give up ice in Penhld, there may be risk in nt getting it back when we need ice when RD Arena is clsed fr renvatins the fllwing year. Other Assciatins travel cnsiderably further than Delburne, s we need t be aware if we give up Delburne, we will have increased early mrning practices and shared ice practices at all age grups. RDR pays fr all ice that is allcated t RDR. S all ice needs t be used by teams. RDR des nt want t give up ice as it can affect ice allcatins frm the City in future years. New Business - Current Year Statement (2014/15) presented by Darren Blair Incme increased due t fundraiser incme, registratin fees Expenses assciatin registratins shw lwer, hwever RAB has nt submitted their final invice. Bank charges increased as we went t nline registratins last year. Equipment and jersey s are dwn. Ice csts are lwer this year. - Darren Blair presented a spreadsheet shwing revenue and expense cmparisns ver the past 6 years.
