8 Philadelphia Flyers: Media Notes TONIGHT S GAME The Flyers host the Edmonton Oilers in their 6 rd game of the year and nd at home. Calgary opened the scoring with a power play goal from Sean Monahan 6:07 into the first period. Shortly after having one goal reviewed and left a non-goal, Schenn took a feed at the top of the crease and beat Jonas Hiller at :5. Simmonds then gave the Flyers a - lead with a power-play goal :7 into the second. 18 Philadelphia Flyers: Head Coach and Player Bios Head Coach: Dave Hakstol Dave Hakstol was named the 9th head coach in Flyers history on May 8, 05. Hakstol, 7 (7/0/968), comes to the Flyers from the University of North Dakota, where he served as the head coach of the school s hockey program for seasons.
