Presenting a better buying experience Nothing is more frustrating for a customer than struggling to find products or having difficulty choosing the right product when they do. Grouping products together in a logical manner creates the best experience. We also recommend vertical merchandising whenever possible. What is vertical merchandising? It means placing merchandise in vertical columns instead of horizontal rows. The advantage is it allows your customers to see the entire product selection at waist level instead of hiding some items on the bottom row. The bottom row can be a death sentence for some products. It also makes it much easier to compare products. So, if a customer is deciding which sock is their best option they don t need to search for each option. They are all represented at the same level. The final reason for vertical merchandising is that it improves the overall appearance and organization of the store. If within 6 months of purchase, a defect occurs in a Red Wing branded product or footbed as the result of normal use, Red Wing Shoe Company, Inc. ( Red Wing ) will repair the defect or exchange the product. If a product defect occurs as the result of normal use within 6 to 12 months after purchase, Red Wing will repair the defect or issue a credit for 50% of the purchase price.
