1. Fees and Prizes The annual re-entry fee is $300, however prize money generated from the annual fee, trades and free agent signings throughout the season is broken down as follows: 50% goes towards end of season prizes 50% will be placed in the pool s "bank" for revenue sharing purposes. End of regular season prizes will be awarded as follows: 1 st place 45% 2 nd place 27% 3 rd place 18% 4 th place 10% 2. Draft Order (Lottery) The order in the annual draft is determined by a combination of a lottery and previous season standing. Subject to the results of the draft lottery (see below) and effective as of the season, starting with the 2 nd round and for every round thereafter, franchises pick in the reverse order of the previous year s final standings. That is the 1 st place franchise will draft last; the 2 nd place franchise will draft second last and so on culminating with the last franchise drafting 1 st. Draft lottery for the 1 st Round: At the conclusion of the regular season, the 6 franchises that did not finish in the money are entered in a weighted lottery to determine the draft order of the first 6 draft picks of Round 1. The odds of winning the lottery are weighted on a descending scale that gives the greatest chance of winning to the franchise with the lowest point total of the previous year s final standing (30%), and the worst chance to the team with the highest point total (8%). The lottery odds for the first overall pick for franchises finishing 5th through 10th are follows: Rank Finished New Lottery Odds Former Odds 10 th 30% 50% 9 th 22% 33.3% 8 th 17% 16.7% 7 th 13% n/a 6 th 10% n/a 5 th 8% n/a The draft order for the 7 th through 10 th draft selection of the 1 st round is as follows: Rank Finished (based on prior year s standing) Draft Order 1 st Round (Pick overall) 4 th 7 th 3 rd 8 th 2 nd 9 th 1 st 10 th Page 3 of 11

Draft Lottery Process: An Excel spreadsheet using a random number generator between 1 and 100 will be used to determine the draft order of the first 6 draft picks of the 1 st round. Each Franchise is given a range of numbers based on the lottery odds table above. Rank Finished (based on prior year s standing) Lottery Odds (effective ) Number Range 10 th 30% 01 to 30 9 th 22% 31 to 52 8 th 17% 53 to 69 7 th 13% 70 to 82 6 th 10% 83 to 92 5 th 8% 93 to 100 Using the Excel function RANDBETWEEN, a number between 1 and 100 is generated and the Franchise whose number range contains the number generated is awarded the 1 st overall pick. Once the 1 st pick is awarded, that Franchise and its number range are removed from the process and the odds and number ranges for remaining Franchises are recalculated thus producing new odds and ranges. Then again using RANDBETWEEN, a number is generated and the Franchise whose number range contains the number generated is awarded the 2 st overall pick and so on until the order for the first 6 selections have been determined. Team Draft As of the draft, the Team draft has been dropped. Franchise owners will no longer require to draft an NHL team. The draft will be decreased by one round to eleven (11) rounds to accommodate this change. Player Draft Each franchise is awarded 11 draft rounds, however the number of draft rounds may vary for each franchise due to the trading of draft picks throughout the season. In addition, owners can draft up to a maximum of 2 more rounds if two or less Protected Prospects are retained. If three prospects are retained, only 1 additional round is awarded; if four prospects are retained, no additional round is awarded. Player Eligibility A player is eligible to be drafted by a franchise provided that he has either been drafted by an NHL team or is currently playing in the NHL. 3. Points Only the points obtained while a player is on the active roster will count towards the franchise s point total. Standings are published and communicated weekly on Mondays. Player: 1 point per goal and 1 point per assist Goalie: 3 points per shutout (shared shutouts count for half) 2 points per win 1 point per goal and 1 point per assist Page 4 of 11

4. Franchise Roster Throughout the season, each franchise must contain at a minimum: 1 Goalie 5 Defensemen 11 Forwards Effective , franchises will be subject to a new minimum and maximum number of players on their roster, inclusive of LTDs and subject to the salary cap guidelines. No Franchise will be permitted to have less than the 28 players (the minimum ) or more than 38 players (the maximum ) at any time during the season, except immediately after the draft. The minimum is lowered to 25 for the draft (maximum remains at 40) and all Franchise owners will have until the "Submission of An Active Roster" to bring their roster to the required minimum of 28 players. Note: any transaction causing a Franchise Owner to default on the Min/Max will be deemed to be null and void unless rectified by 12pm on the Friday of the week in which the transaction was completed / announced. Submission of Active Roster Upon completion of the draft, each franchise owner will be given a period of approximately two (2) weeks to submit their active rosters. Roster Moves Franchise owners may elect to replace an active player with a benched player prior to the first game played on Friday by sending an to all franchise owners. All moves must be made before the start of the first scheduled game for that day. Any move after the deadline will not be accepted. Points are awarded to newly active players starting from Monday night's games. Points cease to be awarded for players designated to the bench as of Sunday night's games. 5. Protected Roster Each Franchise owner can protect up to 15 players, excluding Protected Prospects. Franchises will be able to protect anywhere from 15 to 19 players depending on player eligibility (refer to next section regarding prospects). Two weeks prior to draft day, each Franchise owner must submit a final protect list of players. All other players will be eligible to be drafted by any franchise on Draft Day. After the submission of the final protect list but prior to 12pm three days prior to the draft date, each Franchise will be permitted to make a maximum of three modifications to their final protect list. The maximum of three modifications is not applicable to trades. 6. Dropping a Roster Player Effective Season, each Franchise will be permitted to drop one (1) or more player(s) from his roster at any time at no cost provided that both of the following conditions are met: a) The Min/Max number of players is respected at all times b) The dropping of the player is pursuant to and in conjunction with a transaction (i.e. FA signing, Trade, Waiver Draft, reactivation of an LTD) 7. Player Designation - Defense vs Forward The Grandfather Clause Effective Season, all undrafted players will be assigned a position based on the NHL site and/or other reputable NHL Hockey Site. That player s designation remains in effect for the entire season until reset, if necessary, at the beginning of the next season. If the Player is protected by a Franchise Owner, the player retains the designation previously set when the player was acquired (i.e. Grandfather Clause). If a player is traded during the season, then the Grandfather Clause does not apply and the player may be subject to a position adjustment. For the season, both Brent Burns and Dustin Byfuglien are Defensemen. Page 5 of 11

8. Protected Prospects The purpose is to give everyone the opportunity to draft young prospects and protect them while they spend their early years in the minors aspiring to develop into superstars. Prospects salaries will be determined prior to start of the season (refer to section Salaries and Salary Cap) and will remain at the pre-determined salary until he no longer meets the eligibility criteria defined below, at which point it will become his NHL salary as governed by the Salaries guidelines. At the end of the season or prior to the new season, a maximum of 4 players satisfying the Protected Prospects Eligibility criteria are eligible to be protected in addition to the Protected Roster. Franchise owners will be awarded up to a maximum of 2 additional draft rounds if two or less Protected Prospects are retained. If three prospects are retained, only 1 additional round is awarded; if four prospects are retained, no additional round is awarded. Protected Prospects Eligibility Criteria defensemen must have had less than 20 (15*) points in any given NHL season forward must have less than 40 (25*) points in any given NHL season goalie must have played less than 30 (20*) games in any given NHL season NOTE: asterisk (*) denotes a strike shortened season (i.e Season) 9. Salaries and Salary Cap Effective Hockey Pool Season, the salary structure will be changed to go from Actual Players' Salary to Salary Cap Hit from the preceding NHL season. The Salary Cap Hit for the Hockey Pool Season will be the NHL Season Salary Cap Hit. A player's Cap Hit will be limited to the published Cap Hit to the team for which the said player plays for. Retained salaries from another team pursuant to a trade or other NHL transition will not form part of the Cap Hit. (e.g. Luongo, Kessel, Yandle and Lucic Cap hits). Franchise Owners will have to adhere to both a salary cap Upper and Lower limit, the amounts of which are as follows: Salary Cap (in Millions of USD) Upper $100.4 $103.9 $106.2 $109.1 Lower $83.3 $86.3 $88.2 $90.5 Salaries for the current season are based on the players Cap Hit from the previous season. Players who do not have any previous published contract or no published salary will have a minimum Cap Hit set at $975,000. Players that previously played in the NHL and did not play or did not have a contract in the NHL the previous season, will be assigned the last Cap Hit on record. Dominik Hasek, Ray Emery and Jaromir Jagr would be a few examples. In the event that there is a situation that is not covered by any of the constitution associated with salaries or Cap Hit, we will refer to the magazines and/or websites for reference and deal with the situation at the draft table on a case-by-case basis. A master list of the current season's Cap Hits will be provided at the beginning of each season and made available before the draft for reference. This list will be updated periodically, however Franchise Owners will have until October 31 st of the current season to report any discrepancies and/or request a revision to the master list. After October 31 st the Cap Hits as per the master file will be deemed fixed for the season. IMPORTANT: It is forbidden to surpass the salary cap! In the unlikely event that an owner inadvertently surpasses the salary cap upper or lower limit, he will have until noon Friday of that same week to rectify the situation otherwise the transaction causing the infraction will be denied and/or reversed (i.e. draft pick, trade, free agent signing, waiver draft, etc.). Page 6 of 11

10. Long-Term Disability or Injured Reserve Cost: $15 per player placed on LTD. Every franchise is granted the option of placing, at any time, an injured player on Long Term Disability ( LTD ) whereby that player s salary does not count against the salary cap for the duration of the of the time that the player is on LTD. Each franchise owner can exercise the LTD rule twice (2) in any given season. A player from your roster is eligible for LTD, if the player is injured, unable to play or not playing for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to: placed on waivers being sent down to the minors or healthy scratch transferred or elects to play in another league receives an NHL imposed suspension of 10 or more games Once an injured player is placed on LTD, the player must remain on the LTD for a minimum duration of twenty-one (21) days and is deemed to be inactive and cannot be traded. A player on LTD can be re-instated once the minimum twenty-one (21) day duration has been met and provided the franchise has available cap space. LTD duration will commence on the day the owner designates a player for LTD. Points will begin accumulating only after the 21 day period has elapsed. 11. Free Agents Cost: minimum starting fee of $10. The deadline for announcing a free agent is the Friday following the NHL trade deadline. For the Season, the Franchise Pool deadline is Friday March 2 nd, As of Hockey Pool Season, the number of free agents has been increased to 6 for each Franchise Owner (unless you have lost/acquired FA picks via trades). Only players not drafted in the Hockey Pool and drafted in the NHL are eligible for Free Agency (i.e. you cannot sign a player that is in the Juniors, Europe etc. unless they have been drafted by an NHL team). The franchise owner announcing the FA signing (first to call the FA) has the responsibility to contact all the other franchise owners. This is best accomplished via to all owners. Free Agents must be announced by end of day Wednesday of the current week in order for the player to be eligible for the current week. Only FAs announced Saturday through Wednesday inclusive are eligible for the current week's roster, which is defined as Monday to Sunday. FAs announced on Thursdays and Fridays only become eligible for the following week's roster, the only exception being at the beginning of the year until after the first week s roster is set. The deadline will be strictly enforced. Once a Free Agent is called, the remaining franchise owners have 48 hours* to respond whether they are "IN" or "OUT". Please bear in mind that this is their RIGHT and no one should get upset or frustrated if a franchise owner takes the full 48 hours to reply. After 48 hours, all owners that have not replied are automatically deemed to be OUT without any further notice being given or required. *IMPORTANT: 48 hours throughout this rule implies less than 48 hours if a Free Agent is announced late Wednesday night, up to 11:59pm eastern. Owner responses must be in before noon Fridays. If you are travelling or do not have any access to for whatever reason, then please make sure that you make arrangements. (e.g. advise everyone especially Nick or Joe D. so that we can attempt to call you). Also, the 48 hour rule becomes very important when there are concurrent FA signings where a franchise owner wants to await the results of one FA signing before committing to another. Therefore, plan accordingly when announcing your FA because you may have to wait upon another FA signing to be completed prior to yours commencing and not allowing you to react in the event you do not get your FA. Page 7 of 11

If a Free Agent goes uncontested (i.e. no other Franchise Owner is IN ), the franchise owner who called the FA gets the player for $10. If there is at least one other franchise owner who interested in the FA player, then a silent bidding process begins where all franchise owners who are IN must submit their bids to Joe D (or Nick if Joe D is IN ). In the event that neither Joe nor Nick are available or are "IN" for the FA signing, any other Franchise Owner who is not "IN" can take the bids. If everyone is IN, which has yet to happen, Joe D. or Nick will arrange for a neutral third party to take the bids. In the event of a tie in the bidding process, the FA player is awarded to franchise owner using the following tie-breaker (in the order below): the franchise owner who called the Free Agent gets the player the franchise owner lowest in the standings based on the previous week's cumulative total the franchise owner who submitted the first bid Signed FA players automatically start on your roster at zero active points irrespective of the NHL points acquired prior to the FA signing. Only eligible current week's points will count. Note this does not apply to the beginning of the season until after the first week s roster is set. 12. Trades Cost: $5 per franchise (irrespective of the number of players being traded). Effective Season, the trading deadline was moved up from one (1) week after the NHL trading deadline to approximately one (1) month prior to the NHL trading deadline. For the Season, the trading deadline date will be February 2 nd, Trades are permitted at any time after the NHL Draft (usually in June) up to one month prior to the NHL trading deadline (usually in March). One of the owners involved in the trade must announce it to all franchise owners via prior to Friday game time of the first game of the day. REMINDER: Standings are published on Mondays and are inclusive of Sunday night s games. Points accumulated by a player while on that franchise s active roster as of the last published standings will remain with the franchise when the player is traded to another franchise. Effective season, points accumulated by a player after the published standings and during the week of the trade will only start counting as of the day the player is acquired by the new franchise. Any points accumulated from the last published standings up to the trade day will be considered as inactive points, regardless whether the player is active or farm status. For example, Vinny Lecavalier has accumulated 3 points after playing two 2 games for the week and gets traded on Thursday morning. Neither franchise will benefit from those 3 points as they are deemed inactive due to the trade. However, Vinny plays Thursday night and gets 2 points. Those 2 points will be accumulated and count for the franchise that recently acquired Lecavalier, provided the owner sets him as active for the week. Trades can be made on a many-to-1 ratio and may include future draft picks and/or current season s free agent picks. Future seasons free agent picks cannot be traded. Conditional trade clauses for players performances will be allowed provided the conditions are clearly defined at the time of the trade and there are no objections from any owner. All trades are at the discretion of the franchise owners involved. However, any trade may be overturned or denied if it is deemed too "one-sided" and/or may alter the outcome of the pool. Page 8 of 11

13. Waiver Draft A waiver draft will be held on Wednesday December 6 th, 2017 before 12 noon; which is the first Wednesday in the month of December. Only the last 5 ranked franchises will be allowed to participate in the waiver draft based on the standings published for the week ending November 27 th, Each of these 5 franchises will be granted the privilege of drafting 1 player from the pool of free agent players. There will be a freeze on Free Agent signings from November 30 th thru noon December 6 th to accommodate the waiver draft selection. The constitution governing the salary cap and player eligibility will apply. The waiver draft privilege cannot be traded, however the player picked up in the waiver draft may be traded as per the constitution governing player trades. There is no cost for this draft and selection of a player is optional. 14. Franchise Owner Replacement In the unlikely event that a franchise owner should decide to leave the pool, the first plan of action is to hold a GM meeting to determine the fate of the franchise and its players. There are two options, in order of preference: 1. Replace the owner - via an auction or a set price - with all proceeds divided equally amongst the remaining owners, or 2. Dissolve the franchise a dispersal draft should be conducted in reverse order of finish from the most recent completed season, thus the lowest place franchise getting the first pick. The dispersal draft will include draft picks as assets (i.e. as if they were players). The dispersal draft ends when either everyone has passed or the entire team and/or draft picks have been taken. NOTE: The dispersal draft must be held before the regular draft and the dispersal draft order does not necessarily have to be the same order as the regular draft which is determined via a weightedaverage lottery. 15. Tie-Breakers Tie-Breakers are used to determine a winner from among contests that result in a tie. Typically several tie-breaker criterions can and will be applied in order to unambiguously determine a winner. When all else fails, the traditional coin flip will determine the winner. 16. Lockout Constitution It was decided in a vote of 6-4 in favor of having a draft for the hockey pool season irrespective whether there is an NHL season. Dissenting were Johnny, Joe D., Mike and Paolo. If there is no NHL season, the draft of order of next year's hockey pool draft will remain the same as the hockey pool draft. If there is no NHL season, there will be no entry fee however all other fees remain in effect, 100% of which will be added to the shared pot. If there is a NHL season, even if it is a shorten season, the full and regular entry fees will apply. If there is a NHL season, the regular hockey pool constitution will apply with the exception of the Waiver Draft. The waiver draft will only be in effect if the NHL season is 60 games or more and will be held approximately 1 month before the official NHL trading deadline. Page 9 of 11

APPENDIX A Miscellaneous Draft Order - Inaugural Season The snake draft (i.e. first to last; last to first) order was determined by a random lottery which consisted of 26 rounds. The 26 th round was reserved for selection of the NHL team. The order was as follows: 1. Nick Malandruccolo / 2. Joe Laranjo / 3. Joe Di Tomaso / 4. Paolo Zaccheo / 5. Johnny Palleria / 6. Steve Karaminas / 7. Louis Cortina League Expansion In 1996/97 season, Claudio Masella joined our pool. Claudio built his franchise by drafting 15 players from the list of unprotected players and was awarded the 4 th pick in the draft order. In 2007/08 season, Giacomo D'Agostino and Mike Tempone joined our pool. The expansion fee of $900 per franchise was broken down as follows: $550 (11 prior seasons x $50) was distributed equally to existing owners. The remaining $350 went towards revenue sharing pot which was equivalent to an equal share of the existing pot (i.e. at the end of 2006/07 season, the pot was at $2738 or $ for each of the 8 owners). On Draft Day, Part 1: Giac and Mike took turns drafting 8 players each from the list of unprotected players only. In a random draw, Giac was picked to go first, Mike second. Part 2: all 10 franchise owners then drafted a team. Based on random draw, the order was as follows: 1. Joe Di Tomaso 6. Johnny Palleria 2. Giacomo D'Agostino 7. Steve Karaminas 3. Joe Laranjo 8. Louis Cortina 4. Claudio Masella 9. Michael Tempone 5. Nick Malandruccolo 10. Paolo Zaccheo Part 3: six (6) draft rounds whereby all NHL players were eligible. The previous season s last 3 place finishers went first, followed by the 2 new owners, then the remaining owners in reverse order of previous season s final standings. Based on weighted-average lottery for the last 3 place finishers and a random draw for the new owners, the draft order was as follows: 1. Joe Di Tomaso 6. Steve Karaminas 2. Louis Cortina 7. Nick Malandruccolo 3. Joe Laranjo 8. Johnny Palleria 4. Michael Tempone 9. Paolo Zaccheo 5. Giacomo D'Agostino 10. Claudio Masella Part 4: Giac and Mike took turns drafting 7 players each from list of all NHL players. Here again, Giac went first, followed by Mike. Part 5: five (5) draft rounds for all 10 owners in same order as above. Part 6: up to 2 additional rounds for owners who did not protect under-22 players. Part 7: 10 draft rounds for our FAP Pool. Based on random draw, the snake order was as follows: 1. Joe Laranjo 6. Steve Karaminas 2. Joe Di Tomaso 7. Paolo Zaccheo 3. Louis Cortina 8. Michael Tempone 4. Johnny Palleria 9. Giacomo D'Agostino 5. Claudio Masella 10. Nick Malandruccolo Page 10 of 11
