4 Administrative History Since 1976, The Eastern Michigan University Hockey Club has competed at the highest levels of semi-varsity hockey in the United States- finishing as CSCHL league champions and qualifying for the National Tournament several times in recent history. The EMU Eagles have finished as National Runner Up twice and are still striving to win their first National Title in the Division 1 of the ACHA. In , Eastern Michigan University joined the newly formed Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League as an inaugural member. Joining them will be Oakland University, Davenport University, Western Michigan University, Adrian College, and the University of Michigan Dearborn. In addition to their in-league schedule, Eastern Michigan University competes on a rotating schedule with other top Division 1 ACHA programs such as Lindenwood University, Ohio University, Illinois University, Penn State University, and others. The EMU Eagles play approximately 40 games per season including nonleague and exhibition games, as well as the GLCHL playoffs and the ACHA national Championship Tournament. The Team photographs series includes official team photos from 1988 to 200. These photos have been housed in clear sleeves, two per sleeve, and arranged chronologically.
