2 Dear Friends, I am excited to share the sponsorship information for the 2015 Mario Lemieux Celebrity Invitational presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, June 24 25, 2015, at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. All proceeds from the event will once again benefit the cancer research and patient care initiatives of the Mario Lemieux Foundation. Unbelievably, this will be our eighth year enjoying the hospitality of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and one of the nation s finest golf courses, Mystic Rock Golf Course. Over the years, I have been fortunate that many of my celebrity friends have given their time to help my Foundation raise funds people like Michael Jordan, Marcus Allen, Sidney Crosby, Ben Roethlisberger, Dan Marino, Jerome Bettis and many others. I am very appreciative of their continued support. Most importantly, it is the generous sponsors of this event that allow the Mario Lemieux Foundation to continue many important projects in cancer research and patient care. In 2014, the Foundation established the Mario Lemieux Lymphoma Center for Children and Young Adults with a $2.5M gift to Children s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. 6 Sponsorship Packages Two-Day Package $30,000 One Pro-Am golf group, each day (three golfers per day) Overnight accommodations for each golfer at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on Tuesday, June 23 and / or Wednesday, June 24 *Please note, this package includes a total of six room nights that can be used on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights. The cutoff date for room reservations is Monday, June 8. Reservations after June 8 are not guaranteed and are based on availability. 12 Tickets to the Winner s Circle Party, hosted by Highmark Blue Cross, Blue Shield on Wednesday, June 24 Breakfast or lunch for each golfer prior to assigned tee time Important Information Sponsorship packages include overnight accommodations for each golfer at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on Wednesday, June 24. Sponsors who buy two-day packages have a total of six room nights that can be used on Tuesday, June 23 and/or Wednesday, June 24. The deadline for reservations is June 8. Reservations received after June 8 are not guaranteed and are based on availability. If you would like additional rooms at the Lemieux Foundation s discounted rate, please contact the Foundation Office for reservations by May 28. Each golfer will receive a $ credit at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort as a part of the sponsorship package. The credit can be used for an approval list of activities, which include additional night s accommodations, dinner at any of Nemacolin s spectacular eateries, and recreational activities. The credit can only be used from Tuesday, June 23 through Sunday, June 28.
