Whether you are a KMHA NEW or RETURNING sponsor, welcome! The next few pages will give you a brief overview of our Minor Hockey Association. For returning TEAM sponsors, please note renewal is up every August. For returning ARENA BOARD sponsors, please note that your board space is up for renewal in December. If you do not wish to continue with TEAM or BOARD sponsorship, please notify us immediately. KMHA offers 4 levels of sponsorship to choose from, as follows: Platinum $ NEW Team Jersey Sponsor (1st year only, then Gold package discount applies) Gold $ Returning Team Jersey Sponsor Silver $ $ BOARD Sponsorship (see package for more details) Extras perks included with some of these packages are advertising on the KMHA website and the KMHA tv in the Tamitik. Details on each sponsorship level can be found in the package included. KMHA also provides the option for donations of any amount. 2 ABOUT US: KMHA believes that every person who wants to participate should have the opportunity to do so. We are committed to providing leadership which will ensure the best possible environment for a quality hockey experience. It is recognized that hockey is a major influence on its participants and on our community. We believe that hockey exists for the players individually and collectively and that the volunteers whose efforts and dedication make hockey possible for the players are the foundation of the Kitimat Minor Hockey Association. Our Association receives some gaming grant monies but not enough which makes funding a budget exceeding over $125, per season, a challenge. Expenses include ice fees, jerseys, equipment, coaching clinics, safety training clinics, referee clinics, insurance, travel and more. This is where YOU can help make a difference! With your support, together, we can commit to hockey in our community. ABOUT THE TEAMS: KMHA has 9 Divisions and 14 teams (mixed male/female) with a total of about 170 enthusiastic hockey players, as follows: Initiation, Novice, Atom/Atom Dev., Pee Wee House/REP, Bantam House/ REP, Midget House/REP. In the past we have had a female team but this is based on player registration. Juvenile teams (age 18-20) also is based on registration. PACKAGES: We have a variety of sponsor packages available to advertise your business within your budget. Our Corporate Sponsors and Donors are essential to making KMHA a success. The annual cost to rent the arena board space for advertising purposes is $ NEW Boards are installed in July, replacement boards can be installed anytime. KMHA offers a reduced rate of $ for the purchase of "2" boards in TAM. Board space is limited in both arenas so please contact Kitimat Minor Hockey for more information. KMHA will bill you separately for the Lexan covering (approx. $ tax and shipping), as we order through the DOK for precise measurements for the sign. For your information, Enigma Promo ( ) in Kitimat and Silvertip Signs ( ) in Terrace and are two companies that can do your Arena Board sign (in styrene, 36"x96"x1/16", 3'H x 8'W x 1/16"thick) to include artwork (with a good quality PDF. Please contact your preferred retailer directly with your logo/design and request an accurate quote. Please send KMHA a proof of your sign for approval, prior to ordering. After signage is approved by KMHA, please advise when the sign will be delivered to TAMITIK. KMHA will invoice you in every year. The amount is due and payable upon receipt of the invoice. If you do not wish to carry on with your advertisement, KMHA must be notified prior to October 30th. You will be notified in writing of any fee increases, giving you the option of withdrawing from the rental agreement. KMHA Board sponsorship rates are: $ (1 board) and $ (2 boards) in TAMITIK and $ (1 board) in KIR, per year as per package rates enclosed. The sign becomes the property of Kitimat Minor Hockey. The Lexan covering that protects your sign needs to be replaced every 4-5 years and KMHA will bill you separately for this. KMHA is responsible for the annual payment of the space rental to the District of Kitimat. The DOK installs and removes the signage from the arenas.
