1 Shannon Clark ENGW 3301 Unit 4 - Public Document 11/27/13 The purpose of this public document is to advertise one of Reebok s new shoe lines that I worked with while I did my co- op at the company, called the Reebok ONE series shoe line. The document's audience will be a young, athletic audience in the age demographic of years old. They value fitness, running, and working out, and they want and need a quality running shoe that will give them support and comfort for both long and short runs. There can be some biases in the shoe industry about brand and support. Brands such as Nike are extremely popular, so my advertisements must give the shoes an edge on these popular brands such as Nike and Adidas. In addition, there have been arguments about shoes with a high level or support versus shoes with low level of support, such as the popular Vibram five- finger shoes. With these advertisements, my goal is to instill confidence in consumers that this shoe is the right fit for them. These public documents are social media posts and a radio advertisement. The social media posts would be published on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, where Reebok would be able to reach a large target audience and interact with users. The radio advertisement would be aired on radio channels across the country, most likely hit stations such as the I Heart Radio channel with has national syndicates, so a youthful, active audience can be reached.

2 Series of Facebook posts: Pre- release Whether you re hitting the pavement or the gym, find a way to push your boundaries, and make sure your sneaker can keep up with you. What do you do push your boundaries? Everyone has a favorite running shoe. Tell us about your favorite shoe. What does your favorite running or workout sneaker do for you?

3 Some people push themselves by running for an extra 2 minutes every day. Other people push themselves by adding five extra pounds to that deadlift. How do you push yourself on a daily basis? Does your favorite running shoe give you comfort and support while trekking through rough terrain? Does your favorite shoe respond to flat, harsh gravel by cushioning your ankles and in- step while propelling you forward? Describe your favorite shoe.

7 Radio advertisement script: Every day, it s important to push your boundaries so you can improve. Whether you re a runner, a walker, a hiker, or even a weightlifter, the Reebok ONE series shoe collection can help you achieve and surpass your goals. Every shoe features full arch support to help guide you through your walk and run, as well as multi- texture grooves on the sole to grip any surface, whether it be inside or outside. Consumer 1: There are a lot of great running trails near my home, and every morning I like to try a different trail or running route. Some routes are flat and smooth while others are hilly and rough. I never know what I m going to get, but with my Reebok ONE series trail running shoes, it doesn t matter. The shoe gives my ankles and feet the support and comfort I need in any condition. Consumer 2: I personally never work out outside. I am always at the gym using the treadmill or elliptical, and taking weight classes. In the past, I ve always had to have more than 1 pair of shoes to transition between running and weight lifting, but the Reebok ONE series cross trainer is a versatile shoe that supports me and works throughout my entire workout. I also have the Reebok ONE series trail shoe for when I decide to go on hikes with my friends and family. Consumer 3: Work keeps me very busy, so I barely get the chance to work out. When I do, I like to walk or do yoga. But regardless of what I m doing, I am always on the go. Whether it s running errands around town or going on a quick walk with one of my friends, I need a shoe that it comfortable and practical while also staying stylish and trendy.
