FOJ does this by pairing the afflicted child and their siblings with local high school and college sports teams. The Blue Jays adopted Connor Durgin, 8, on October 7, 2015 and he has been a fixture at games and other team events since then. He took part in the pregame meeting with officials and team captains when the Blue Jays hosted Syracuse on March 19, 2016 and made the trip to Penn State a month later and made the Blue Jays call on the coin toss (tails), which JHU won. In February: Johns Hopkins has played just 35 all-time games in the month of February and the Blue Jays are 28-7 in those 35 games. The Blue Jays won all four of their games in the month of February in 2017 and, including last week s win against Towson, have won five straight in the opening month of the season.
