4 Player Experience Preferences The South Central CHAOS Lacrosse Club has the following experience preferences to be eligible to play for the teams in the various age divisions. The Spring 2016 season counts as one year. Players that do not meet the minimum experience eligibility requirements may be invited by a CHAOS Lacrosse Club Coach to try-out for their respective team. See Tryout information. U9 - two years minimum U11 - three years minimum U13 - four years minimum U15 - five years minimum 2018 & Varsity - six years minimum Assessments The South Central CHAOS Lacrosse Club anticipates having a large number of players wanting to play at each age division. Assessments will be scheduled and held, for all age groups. They will be advertised at least three weeks ahead of time, with information being sent to all local school rec clubs. During assessments, players will be evaluated on individual skill execution, team skills, as well as intrinsic traits such as motivation, leadership and desire. Players will be selected based on what they do during the assessments and what we perceive their potential to be. We select players based on the criteria of athletic potential, attitude, work ethic, drive, willingness to be coached, leadership and lacrosse skills. It is suggested that players attend as many assessment sessions as possible. For the psychological health of the teams and the Club as a whole, grievances need to be handled between the parties involved and the decision makers in the situation. 5. Any member who is approached and asked to listen to or express an opinion about matters between two other parties in the Club is strongly encouraged to refer the complaining party to take the matter up with the appropriate Head Coach or the Vice President - Operations. 6.
