All of our age groups offer a variety of programs. If you have any specific questions please contact us at any time. Program details can be subject to change. PROGRAMS OFFERED CSWU soccer offers two streams of soccer, Grassroots and Competitive (CMSA) CMSA (Calgary Minor Soccer Association) competitive soccer with Academy Training added at the U9-18 levels NEW TEAM OFFICIAL APPRECIATION PROGRAM: We are pleased to introduce a brand new program this season for our dedicated CMSA Coaches and Managers who put in so many hours. Volunteer credits will be posted to your account at the end of each season, for use in the following season: Head Coach $100; Assistant Coach $50 (max 2); and Manager $50. 2 REGISTRATION INFORMATION CMSA Registration closes: March 26, 2018 Grassroots Registration closes: April 13, 2018 New Players to the club will need to create an account using the CSWU Power-Up Member Zone which can be located on our home website -> REGISTER -> SIGN UP to create your family account. Returning players/families will need to click the LOGIN button to use their existing accounts to register for the programs. PAYMENTS At the time of Registration you will be expected to pay the BASIC registration fees. Following tryouts and team placement, applicable fees for Tier 1, 2 & 3 Academy will be added to the player accounts and will be automatically debited to your credit card as follows: May 1, June 1, July 1. Please contact the club for additional information; info@cswusoccer.com REFUND POLICY CSWU POLICY: REFUND Policy Statement: When a player registers for CSWU we guarantee that player placement on a team, but will not guarantee a certain level of play. Player placement for CMSA teams will be determined in the evaluation process. An administration fee will be deducted from any player who chooses to withdraw, prior to closing of registration. After the registration deadline, a player can still choose to leave the club, but the following applies: Terms Evaluations: refers to the process for the technical staff to determine the level of play for athletes. Registration Deadline: refers to the date on-line registrations close Credit Card Refunds: Any refund processed back by credit card will have a 5% admin fee applied. Refund Request Deadline: With the exception of injury related requests accompanied by doctor notes, refund requests must be submitted prior to May 15 for Outdoor, and vember 15 for Indoor Programs.
3 Description CMSA Players 1. If a player has not attended an Evaluation (this includes invites to practices or technical training sessions for observation where applicable) and their request to leave is before the registration deadline, they will be charged an administration fee of $25 plus a 5% fee for all Credit Card refunds. 2. If the player has attended an Evaluation (this includes invites to practices or technical training sessions for observation where applicable) and their request to leave is before the registration deadline, they will be charged $75 plus a 5% for all Credit Card refunds. 3. After the registration deadline, refund requests will only be considered for season ending injuries and must be accompanied by a doctor s note. Refunds will be granted based on a pro-rated formula related to games played. 4. Players requesting a refund must complete a refund request form, which will then need to be submitted for review along with any and all supporting documents including a doctor s note explaining the injury. Please submit completed forms directly to the office via to CSWU Soccer Club at info@cswusoccer.com. Grassroots Players 1. If request is received before the player is placed on a team, an administration fee of $25 applies plus a 5% fee for all Credit Card refunds. 2. refunds will be considered after placement on a team unless accompanied by a doctor s note. 11 SWU CMSA PROGRAM: U8 - U19 SWU ACADEMY PROGRAM ACADEMY Program Fees Details U10-U17 Premier U9-10 A/B U11-U17 Tier 1 U10-U17 Select U8 Advanced U9-10 C/D U11-U17 Tier 2 U9-U10 - $250 U11-U17 - $800 U8-U10 - $125 U11-U17 - $450 This is a mandatory additional training package for Academy Program registrants who have been placed on and accepted placement on a Tier A-B/1 team. The Premier Training Package offers additional training for Tier A-B/1 players, including: specialty pre and post season camps/technical training, fitness training, tactical and sports science sessions and additional team practice times. This is a mandatory component for all Academy Program registrants who have been placed on and have accepted placement on a Tier ADV/2 team. The Select Training Package offers twice per week, 1.5 hour training sessions with professional Academy staff. U11-U17 Standard U11-U17 Tier 3 U11-U17 - $250 This is a mandatory component for all Academy Program registrants who have been placed on and have accepted placement on a Tier 3 team. The Standard Training Package offers once per week, 1.5 hour training sessions with professional Academy staff. Drop-In Academy U11-U17 Tier 4-6 $125 optional This is an optional training opportunity for Tier C-D / 4-6 teams. The Drop-In training is offered once per week from May August with a 1.5 hour training session with professional Academy staff. Date and Time TBA.! Academy training for teams will run year-round, except during long weekends and the scheduled holiday break in August and December.! A player evaluating for a CMSA Academy Program team (U9-U10 Tier A/B, U11-U19 Tiers 1-3). will be invited to attend CMSA Academy Program evaluations. In attending evaluations, they are COMMITTING and AGREEING to any additional program costs associated with the players Tier placement.! Fees associated with the Academy program costs will be required to be paid in deferred installments over the course of the season.! Please refer to the CSWU Outdoor 2018 Programs Guide at for further details on player commitments, costs and any additional requirements for each Tier.! Placement on a U9-U17 Academy Team guarantees pre-season placement on a Tier 1-3 team. Players who are placed on an Academy Team that is relegated to Tier 4 following the pre-season will remain in the Academy Team Program. NO refunds will be granted to players wishing to withdraw from the Academy Team Program!
