The No. 6 Rocky Mountain College men s soccer team closes out the regular season this weekend with a pair of games in Washington. The Battlin Bears quest for a third straight Cascade Collegiate Conference crown begin on Friday at Evergreen State College at 3:30 p.m. MT. Rocky will then play at Northwest University in the season finale on Saturday a 4 p.m. MT. Live video will be available for Saturday s game only with a fee of $7.95. Both games will have a live stats feed. Links for all live features will be available on the day of the game on Facebook and Twitter by Rocky carries a 14-1 overall record in the season s final weekend. They lead the CCC with a 10-1 record and 30 points. Rocky can clinch at least a share of the regular season title with four points this weekend and an outright title with all six. They will also claim the title with one win and a loss from Corban and Southern Oregon. The Battlin Bears have won a school record 10 straight games and they are 7-0 in road games. They are up to No. 6 in the NAIA Coaches Top 25 poll after receiving 409 points in this week s poll. With 58 goals scored this season, Rocky ranks sixth in the NAIA and they are eighth at 3.80 goals per game. They lead the NAIA by taking shots per game and ninth by putting shots on goal per outing. Marco Kummerle leads the team with 23 points behind his eight goals and seven assists. He ranks 19th in the NAIA by averaging 0.58 assists per game and 46th at 1.92 points per game. Kummerle takes 3.58 shots per game to rank 44th in the nation. Chasen Lashure has scored a team-high nine goals and is second on the team with 20 points. Jonah Gronmayer has a team-best nine assists 12th in the NAIA and his 0.64 assists per game is 13th nationally. Cole Catlin has started every game in goal with a 14-1 record and six shutouts. He has made 39 saves with a.780 save percentage and 0.75 GAA. Rocky is all-time against Evergreen State and in games in Olympia. The last two meetings have ended in a tie, including a 2-2 game last season in Billings. The Battlin Bears are in games against Northwest all-time. They have won both of the games as the road team and have outscored the Eagles 9-1 in the three games. The CCC Tournament will be played next week at Willamalane Park in Springfield, Washington.
