3 Dear Hurricanes Fans: Thank you for your tremendous support so far this season. The Hurricanes are well on pace to break our franchise s average attendance record. Our coaches and players truly appreciate the atmosphere our fans provide for home games, and as a season ticket holder, you are the foundation on which that success is built. Though our team has faced some adversity this season with injuries, we feel confident that we have a roster capable of a deep run in this year s playoffs. Equally important, the Hurricanes are now positioned to remain competitive for years to come, with core players including Eric Staal, Jordan Staal, Jeff Skinner, Cam Ward, Tuomo Ruutu and Tim Gleason signed to long-term contracts. Another player who has really stood out again this season is Justin Faulk. Justin has played a major role in helping our team battle through the injuries to our blue line, eating minutes and playing at a high level for any defenseman, let alone one who has not yet turned 21. I continue to be impressed with how Kirk Muller has handled this team. As a player, Kirk was an All-Star six times and a Stanley Cup winner for Montreal, and it is clear that his experience helps him to get the most out of his top players. Kirk s three assistant coaches Rod Brind Amour, John MacLean and Dave Lewis all had tremendous playing careers and also have their names on the Stanley Cup. Former NHL netminder Greg Stefan is back in his role as goaltending coach, the same role he held when Cam Ward won the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup in Our players know that those coaches have been in their skates, and understand what it takes to be successful. As we look to the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs and the season, we plan to continue providing our season ticket holders with excellent value and benefits. Even with the addition of several high-end players to our roster, our pricing remains in the lowest quarter of the NHL. In addition, we continue to offer the popular benefits you enjoy including the voucher program, the ticket exchange program, and food and beverage credit, bonuses offered by few other teams in our league. Deadline to take advantage of this offer: Friday, April 12, 2013 PLAYOFFS PAY AS WE PLAY PLAN This benefit is available to Season Ticket Holders who place a 30% deposit towards their season tickets. Each Season Ticket Holder will only be charged for the first two home playoff games once the Hurricanes have clinched a spot in the 2013 playoffs. Thereafter, once any home playoff game is guaranteed to be played you will be charged for that game only. This guarantees that you will never be charged for a playoff game that is not played! Deadline to take advantage of this offer: Friday, April 12, 2013 TICKET VOUCHER PROGRAM The Carolina Hurricanes Ticket Voucher Program provides Season Ticket Holders with the opportunity to attend additional home games or to bring more fans to games in their selected plans at no additional cost. These additional ticket vouchers come complimentary with your season ticket purchase. Full Season Ticket Holders = 4 Vouchers per Seat 26-Game Plan Holders = 3 Vouchers per Seat 12-Game Plan Holders = 2 Vouchers per Seat TICKET EXCHANGE PROGRAM The Ticket Exchange Program allows you to ensure you never throw away any tickets from your plan. Unused plan tickets from past games, or tickets for games you know you will not be able to attend in the future, can be exchanged at the box office for tickets of equal or lesser value based on availability to several predetermined exchange games. 12 TICKET RENEWAL INSTRUCTIONS Below you will find details outlining how to proceed with your playoff and season ticket renewal package, either via standard mail or online*, and the benefits associated with each opportunity. I am interested in renewing my tickets for: 1 The 2013 Playoffs and the Season: Select one of the following options to renew your 2013 playoff and season ticket plans. 1) Payment In Full Check and credit card payments may be returned using the business reply envelope enclosed. Cash payments may be made at the PNC Arena Box Office only. 2) Partial Payment Options a) Extended 7-Month 0% Interest Payment Plan: Complete the payment method information on the enclosed Playoff and Season Ticket Renewal Payment Plan Authorization Form, and be sure to mark the checkboxes on the form that indicate you wish to (A) take advantage of the 2013 Pay As We Play option throughout the playoffs and (B) renew your season tickets by placing a 30% deposit towards next year and signing up for the extended 7-Month 0% Interest Payment Plan. b) Standard Invoicing: Mark the Standard Invoicing checkbox on your invoice, and return it with your first payment of 30% by April 12. The remainder of your payments will be invoiced by mail with the following schedule: June 15 20% due, July 15 25% due, August 31 25% due. The Season Only: Season Ticket Holders may elect to renew only their season ticket plan by returning their renewal invoice with payment in full OR by placing 30% down and taking advantage of our extended 7-Month 0% Interest Payment Plan.
