4 Welcome! Saskatchewan is proud to be hosting the 2018 Western Canadian Ringette Championships. It is with great pleasure we welcome each of you to Saskatoon & Warman to enjoy some amazing competitive Ringette games. At events like this we make and develop friendships and memories that last a lifetime. This year s competition consists of 25 teams with approximately 450 athletes. Please keep in mind that competition is not just about the game. It includes respect for opponents, officials, coaching staff, volunteers and spectators. We would like to encourage every player to continue to always do their best while working together to provide an enjoyable experience for all those involved. We look forward to providing you some prairie hospitality! This initial contact with Jeffery needs to be made by March 7, After that initial contact is made each room can be secured through the block with separate credit cards. British Columbia Holiday Inn Saskatoon 101 Pacific Avenue Saskatoon, SK Teams: U14, U16, and U19 (80 rooms have been reserved) *Complimentary breakfast is provided for teams Team manager is to contact Amar by with a rooming list at amarv@prhotels.ca The rooming list needs to be to Amar by March 9, Once he has the rooming list for each team, he will then contact you with a Block Code and then each of your rooms can be secured with separate credit cards. 18+ Teams Ramada Hotel 806 Idylwyld Drive North Saskatoon, SK Teams : All 18+ teams from MB, SK, AB & BC (80 rooms have been reserved)+ *Complimentary breakfast is provided for teams Phone the hotel at The block code is CGWCRC. Make sure you let them know which team you are with. Rooms need to be secured by March 7, **Any and all Hotel questions or concerns are to be made with the Hotels directly. 8 Skate Sharpening Al Anderson's Source for Sports is the Official Skate Sharpener of WCRC's and is highly recommended for all your sporting goods needs while in town. Al Anderson's Source For Sports 208 Avenue B South, Saskatoon, SK S7M 1M4 (306) *Check your swag bags for a special incentive on skate sharpening during the Western Canadian Ringette Championships. *If you have an abundance of skates to be sharpened please call ahead to establish the current wait times.

9 Emergency Medical Info Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan Injuries on ice will be the assessed by your team trainer. They will make the call if the player requires an ambulance to be called. Medical coverage will be provided by the SMSCS with a team of professionals. This service will be available at Rod Hamm Memorial Arena in Saskatoon. *If you require medical assistance, please arrive with plenty of notice; approximately 2 hours earlier than your ice time to arrange an appointment. Location: Rod Hamm Memorial Arena Hours: March 22-8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. March 23-8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. March 24-8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

10 Fun Stuff Swag Bags Our dedicated committee spent a lot of time getting some great swag bag items, we hope you enjoy them as much as we did getting them! They are available at Team package pick up! Photography Our amazing and talented photographer; getmyphoto.ca will be on site at team package pick up to get your team photo taken. Everyone needs to attend! Let us know when you will arrive so that we can re-arrange the schedule if necessary. Action photos will be taken during the event for ALL age categories U14, U16, U19 & 18+. Each athlete will be charged $25.00 for photos and will include unlimited FREE downloads. (yes, this includes 18+ athletes). 50/50 Progressive Raffle The 2018 WCRC s will be running a progressive 50/50 draw for the duration of the event. Tickets will be on sale starting Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 8:00 am until Saturday, March 24, These tickets will be sold by volunteers at all three arenas. The 50/50 Winning Ticket will be drawn at the Closing Ceremony and Banquet at Prairieland Park on Saturday, March 24, You do not need to be in attendance at the banquet to win. The winning ticket will be posted on our website after the draw and the funds will be handed out if the winner is present or mailed out if not. Good Luck!

11 Clothing and Souvenirs Clothing and souvenirs are being provided by Impact Marketing. These items will be available for teams online and must be ordered by Thursday, March 1, 2018! Link to Order Clothing: There will be a limited supply of clothing available at Warman Legends Centre for those teams that cannot get their orders in on time. No guarantee of colour, quantity or sizes. Cash and carry. Team Hostesses A Hostess will be provided for each team participating in the 2018 Western Canadian Ringette Championships. U12 Saskatoon Ringette Association players will be assigned as Hostesses for each team, providing these young athletes the opportunity to experience a high level of ringette and the general excitement this event brings. They will be your biggest fan, get to hang out on occasion with the team and participate in opening and closing ceremonies. Please note hostesses will NOT be allowed on the team bench during games and hostesses will NOT be provided to the 18+ teams. Please welcome them and make them feel a part of the team. You will meet your player at the Opening Ceremonies. Teams are encouraged to provide your player with a gift of appreciation for their time and commitment. Teams are reminded to purchase a closing ceremony banquet ticket for their Hostess. WCRC Committee Members If you are looking for any information, you can always ask a WCRC Committee Member. They will be wearing Blue Jackets branded with our logo! We are here to help guide you in your inquiries. Please be respectful and remember that we are all volunteers here for the same purpose.

12 Team Event Passes 2018 WCRC participating players & team staff will automatically receive an Event Pass. These passes are to be picked up at Team check in on Wednesday, March 21, Spectator Event Passes (purchased in advance) Pre-Ordered Tournament Passes: $ Deadline is Monday, March 5, 2018 These passes are to be picked up at team check in on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 Tournament Pass (purchased at arenas) Passes will be available at all arenas for purchase upon entry. Cash only. **Please note - Children under 12 are free entry and don't require an event pass! Tournament Pass: $30.00 Day Pass: $15.00 Closing Ceremony Banquet Tickets Closing Ceremony Banquet tickets are $55.00 each, we have plenty of room and everyone is welcome to attend! **Please note - Banquet tickets are the same price for everyone Teams must purchase a minimum of 20 tickets with the exception of 18+ teams who must purchase 1 ticket for each person on their roster and team staff. Don t forget your Hostess! Deadline to order is: Monday, March 5, 2018 There will be an After Party until 11pm so please stick around and show us your best moves on the dance floor! *The Banquet theme is Jeans and Jewels and we are asking that all attendees dress up a pair of their best jeans with a little glitter and jewelry. Please ensure jeans are appropriate and we ask NO athletic wear!
