1 KVHA News KVHA Photo Night is Monday October 23rd at Kent Valley Ice Centre Kent Valley Ice Centre, Kent, WA., Friday, October 20, Kent Valley s annual Photo Night is Monday October 23rd at Kent Valley Ice Centre. Here s the schedule: 5:00pm 10U Squirt B Selects 5:15pm 12U PeeWee Tornadoes 5:30pm 14U Bantam Tornadoes 5:45pm 18U Midget Tornadoes 6:00pm LTP & Mini Mites 6:15pm 8U Mite Tornadoes 6:30pm 10U Squirt Tornadoes & Hurricanes 6:45pm 12U Selects 7:00pm 16U Selects Coaches, Managers and Parents: Please make sure all your players are on time and wearing their team jerseys (we have no spare jerseys) as we will be sticking to the schedule and we don t want any players to miss their team photo. Teams that are scheduled for practices that night will have half-ice practice at the far end of the ice (near the Zamboni gate), other than the 2 last teams which should have full ice. We will not be doing the Association photo this year so this should run very smooth and fast. Everybody smile Kent Valley Coaches and Managers - Score Sheet Reporting Needs Improvement! All KVHA score sheets, home and away, must be turned in by the end of day every Monday. The only exception is for tournament weekends where the final games are played on Monday. In that case the score sheets should be in the KVHA office by end of day Tuesday. Please make sure your score sheets are complete and readable. All score sheets MUST include date, start and end times, game location, names of teams, full team rosters, identity of goalies, shots and saves, coaches names and CEP #. Please try to make sure players get credit for assists. Many score sheets only include the goal scorer. In spite of what you ve been told, it is okay for the coach and/or team manager to add assists and make corrections to scoring after the referee has signed the score sheet. In the case of an unreadable pink 3rd copy, it is okay to trace over the scoring to make them more readable. Trust me, nobody has ever gone to jail for making a score sheet more readable. October 15, 2017 We can t tell by the score sheets where these two games were played. In fact, they were so unreadable we had to go with the stats provided by Desirae Schubert, Team Manager. The Tornadoes tied SnoKing 12U York 2 2 on October 8th and defeated Seattle Jr. 12U Jr. Totems 5 to 1 on October 15th.
