The Purple Division will play a 26 team partial round robin over the first 4 league dates and on the 5th will be a tournament format At the end of the 5 league dates the best overall team in each division will take 1st place honors. Medals are awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in the Red Division and the 1st and 2nd Place Teams in all other Divisions. Medals will also be awarded to the 1st place finisher in the Purple Tournament on April 8th NOTE: Junior National Championship Bids can only be awarded to Great Lakes Region Teams The Region receives 4 bids to the 2018 National Championships in Detroit, MI June 26th June 29th, 2018 in the 15s Division The top 4 best overall Great Lakes Region teams in each of those age divisions from the Red Division will earn those bids 2 National Division Bids 2 American Division Bids Note: a 3rd bid is possible should any Region turn back a bid If a tie exists for the LAST American bid in match percentage we will have a tie breaker (1 set to 25pts) between those teams to award the bid. All matches will be best of 3 full matches (3rd set to 15pts) 15s Windy City Power League Division Team List Match results from the seeding dates are not counted during the league so each team in the division starts out with a 0 0 record with an equal opportunity to win their division. Attached is the league schedule showing the dates, sites and pool placement for each of the teams. Check AES for the specific match times and work assignments
