Meeting called to order at 7:00 by Kevin McFarlane 3. John Uremovich approved gambling minutes. Derek Johnson seconded. 2 Tri-Wheel Compliance Review White Bear Bar We have completed the Compliance Review for the Tri-Wheel at the White Bear Bar. Based on the documentation reviewed, there were no violations of rule or statute. Player Appreciation Party Scheduled for the Saturday, February 13 th from Noon 2pm at Docs Landing. An was sent by Angie Cunningham to the membership. We might want to send another on Friday to remind everyone. We will be raffling a Xbox 1, a 4150 Strauss gift certificate, a $100 Total Hockey gift certificate ad much more. There will be prizes and games for the players. There will be food available (while supplies last) hot dogs, chips and cupcakes. Last year was a huge success; hopefully, we will have a good showing this year as well. McCarron s Big Bingo Party We are hosting an event at McCarron s Pub & Grill called the Big Bingo Party Sunday, February 28 th at 2pm. There will be a bingo occasion awarding merchandise and cash prizes, along with gift certificates and raffles. We are conducting a TV raffle in conjunction with the event. $1.00 chance to win a 55 TV. Jimmy s Grand Opening Event Dates that are good?? Derek Johnson motioned to adjourn meeting. Meeting called to order at 7:20 by Kevin McFarlane 3. Approval of agenda: John Uremovich motioned to approve the agenda. Derek Johnson seconded. Motion John Uremovich approved January s meeting minutes. Derek Johnson. Motion Carried. Open Forum: Sean McCoshen would like to purchase medals for the players and t-shirts for all coaches at the Clinic level. John Uremovich motioned that Sean McCoshen can purchase t-shirts and medals for the clinic level. Sarah Smith seconded. Motion 4. Treasurer s Report: Brian Cunningham Meeting with the IRS again on February 19, 2016 Brian Cunningham motioned that he can give a set of keys to Lorray Rolfer for the concession stand safes. John Uremovich seconded. Motion 5. Vice President of Business Operations report: Derek Johnson Motioned to rededicate the Hippodrome with some expenses to be names the Fred Espe Hippodrome. John Uremovich seconded. Motion 6. Vice President of Hockey Report: John Uremovich Playoffs are starting We need to post positions very soon for board positions that are up in May. Should have each person whose position is up, write up a quick job description 7. President s Report: Kevin McFarlane Gentry Academy wants to move into the WBSC and is meeting with the city very soon.

4 There has been a safe sport incident that has been reported to the police. There was a video taken of a child in his underwear by another child in a locker room and that video was then given to an adult who showed it to a lot of other adults. A Police report was made by the parents of the child that was videotaped and another police report was made by USA hockey. Nothing will happen to our Association or the Coaches of the team, but we NEED to make sure that each team has locker room monitors! D2 Representative: Chris LeClair Still having problems filling slots for district playoffs. Will continue to work on it. 8. Boys Hockey Director report- Scott Hambly Nothing to report 9. Girls Hockey Director report- Sarah Smith Setting up level meetings 10. Player Development Report- Scott Ide Player Development 4v4 information was ed out. STP for Squirts and Peewees is done Acceleration is looking to do a Mite clinic 11. Coordinators Report Joel Cessna Winter Blast went great. Looks like a profit of approx $ so far. Has sent out an to other Mite directors in other associations to see how they run their tryouts. Really wants teams to be competitive, so is looking for some directions from other coaches. Is thinking that maybe 3 Mite teams could be out on the ice at the same time on large sheets of ice. March 5-6 is the Mite jamboree at the Vadnais Heights 12.
