2 SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Show is open to all, with Special Prizes for Regular Thame Farmers Supporters and Young Exhibitors. 2. Each Animal shall have been in possession of the Exhibitor from 1st November 2015 and must have been on his or her holding during the whole of such period and also it must be the property of the Exhibitor on the day of the Show. 3. Every Exhibitor shall make an entry in writing in the prescribed form to the Show Secretary not later than Monday 10 th November specifying the Classes in which he/she will show, and pay an Entrance Fee as provided on the Entry Form. 4. Other than Special Prizes, no animal shall be entered for exhibition in more than one Class and no animal shall be eligible to compete that has taken a Prize at a Christmas Stock Show this year. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry. 5. All Cattle must be accompanied by appropriate paperwork, i.e. cattle Passports and the Market s Cattle Movement Documents. All Sheep must be accompanied by an AML1 form. 6. All stock (option on the Baby Beef class) must be submitted for sale and sold by auction on the day of the Show, otherwise any Prize Money and/or Trophy will be forfeited. 7. 3rd prize shall only be awarded if there are 4 or more entries except were specifically recommended by the Judge. 4th prize shall only be awarded if there are 5 or more entries except were specifically recommended by the Judge. 8. For Prizes awarded by Breed Societies, their Special Conditions will prevail. 9. All animals to be in the Show Yard on the morning of Show day no later than 9.30am. The judging will commence at 10.00am. Cattle must be secured by halters or tied, except in Classes Any objection to the decision of a Judge must be lodged with the Show Secretary in writing with a deposit of 5 (which will be returned if the objection is upheld) within one hour of the completion of the judging or before the commencement of the Auction Sale of the Class of exhibited stock concerned (whichever is sooner). Such objection or dispute to be settled by the Committee and their decision to be final. 11. Any objection on the grounds of breach of any of the foregoing Conditions may be lodged in writing with the Show Secretary by Saturday immediately following the show. 12. In all cases of dispute the decision of the Committee shall be final.

The Hubert East Memorial Challenge Cup will be awarded to the highest placed 100% native bred steer or heifer Best Butcher s Steer or Heifer of any Breed shown by an Exhibitor who is under 26 years of age on Show Day, with the A Walker & Sons Cup Note: not to be shown in any other class Best Baby Beef Animal born 1st November 2013 and later to be haltered, led & shown PRIZE MONEY FOR CLASSES st nd rd - 10 CLASS 6 CLASS 7 CLASS 8 CLASS 9 Best Single Unhaltered Steer or Heifer shown by a vendor that has not won a 1st or 2nd prize in a haltered class at Thame Fatstock Show in the last 2 years, with the Reader & Son Cup Best Butcher's Pair of Steers of a Continental Breed or Cross, with the L F Jollye Challenge Cup Best Butcher's Pair of Heifers of a Continental Breed or Cross, with the Coopers Court Challenge Cup Best Unhaltered Steer or Heifer up to 36 months of any breed or x

5 SPECIAL PRIZES, CUPS & BREED SOCIETY PRIZES Exhibitors must specify on the Entry Form any entries for the following Cups and Awards in order to be eligible: A. IAN MACLAREN CUP For the Best Aberdeen-Angus or Aberdeen-Angus Cross in Show. Also THE SOUTH-EAST OF ENGLAND ABERDEEN ANGUS CLUB will donate a prize of 15 for the best beast in the show sired by a named registered Aberdeen Angus Bull. B. THE MIDLANDS & EAST ANGLIA HEREFORD BREEDERS CHALLENGE CUP Rosette for the Best Beast sired by a Pedigree Hereford Bull and a Hereford Tie to a class winner if sired by a Hereford. C. THE BRITISH BLONDE SOCIETY Offers a Blonde d Aquitaine Tie to the exhibitor of the Best Beast sired by a Blonde. THE SOUTH EASTERN BLONDE CLUB Offers a Rosette and Engraved Glass Paperweight to the Best Animal sired by a Pedigree Blonde. D. THE BRITISH CHAROLAIS CATTLE SOCIETY will award a Charolais prize to the exhibitor of the Best Beast sired by a Charolais. E. THE BRITISH LIMOUSIN CATTLE SOCIETY will award a rosette and special prize to the Best Beast sired by a Limousin and 25 donated by the East Midlands Limousin Cattle Breeders Club. F. THE BRITISH BLUE CATTLE SOCIETY will award an engraved Whiskey Glass and a Champion rosette to the Best Beast sired by a registered British Blue and Res. Champion rosette to the runner up. G. THE BRITISH SIMMENTAL CATTLE SOCIETY will award a rosette to the Best Beast sired by a Simmental. H. BREEDER/FEEDER PRIZE I. THAME MARKET PURCHASED THE JOSH TARRY MEMORIAL TROPHY will be awarded to the heaviest bullock in the show (automatic entry) with a prize of 50. Prospective candidates (that being the animal!) will be weighed before the sale. THE COUNTY TOWN CHALLENGE CUP to the highest points winner in the show with a prize of 25 (automatic entry).
