1 WYOMING AMERICAN LEGION HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS Dear WHSRA Members, May 7, 2018 It is now State finals time and all of the information you need to register for the State Finals is available here on our website. We are excited to be going to Rock Springs for the 2018 State Finals and to be working with the Sweetwater Events Complex staff! The rodeo performance dates are June 7-9, 2018 in Rock Springs, WY. A copy of the tentative finals schedule is also posted. CHECK-IN: The deadline to check in is Wednesday June 6 th at 5pm. The rodeo office (located in Indoor Arena) will be open for check in from 3-5pm ONLY for official check-in. STATE FINALS CUTTING and the STATE REINED COWHORSE FINALS-Will be held during the State final, check the schedule for times and location. Fees will be the same as any other event. Check in will be just prior to the event in the rodeo Office. ENTRY FEES: All entry fees are $60.00 per event (this is the total per event for the week) PLUS a PER PERSON Central Entry fee of $1.00. For example: you want to enter the Barebacks and the Saddle Broncs- total cost for entry fees is $ ($60 + $60 + $1). Jackpot fees are separate and optional in each event and require a separate form. Remember the fund raising benefit; for every $150 of raffle tickets sold you will get a $60 credit towards your State Entry Fees (Not Jackpot fees, just Entry fees). Sold tickets with corresponding money must be turned into Dixie or JT Nunn by the entry deadline May 21 st in order to get the credit on entry fees. More information is available on the website. JACKPOT ENTRIES- Again this year you will be allowed to jackpot any or all of your events at the State Finals. The cost is $50.00 per event. You must include your jackpot fees and your Jackpot Entry Form with your regular entry fees and Official Entry Form to be eligible for jackpot payoff. Please contact Dixie Huxtable if you have any questions. If there are less than 5 entries we will not jackpot that event and your jackpot fees will be refunded.
