6 FOR YOUR INFORMATION The notable changes made at the Shooting Sports Development Committee Meeting March 8, 2014: Jr. shotgun handicap will now shoot at 19 yards (previously 18 yrds). With only one yard differential between Jr. and Int. handicap shooters both age groups can shoot on the same squad. Int. and Sr. shooters can also shoot on the same squad. Jr. and Sr. participants will not shoot on the same squad for shotgun handicap. Small bore rifle (.22) sporter class rifles will not have any after -market rear peep sites. That means only firearms with peep sites factory installed out of the box will be allowed in the sporter class. Air rifle sporter class will only contain multi-pump pneumatic or spring air rifles (no single pump air rifles will be in sporter class). The small bore rifle (.22) range will have one un-scheduled line first thing in the morning both Friday and Saturday. That means those shooting lines will be first come, firstserve. 7 WEIGH INS FOR SHEEP, SWINE AND GOATS! For Swine, Wyoming 4-H recommends NOT having tagging done at any central location. Wyoming 4-H will continue to help youth comply with Wyoming State Fair regulations regarding tagging for entry to the WSF by meeting their required deadlines. To that end, we recommend that tagging be done by the youth owners, 4-H volunteers, parents, or others at the housing location of the swine. Call the Fair Office for tagging information.
