1 2014 INFR Region Finals Format/Ground Rules REGION 1 IRCA - Needs revised Region 2 WESTERN STATES INDIAN RODEO ASSOCIATION Regional Finals GROUND RULES 2014 Location: Wadsworth, NV Date: September The Western States Indian Rodeo Association Region Finals will be open to all members who are financial and membership eligible regardless if they have points. 2. Any WSIRA card holder may enter however, to qualify for the INFR the 50% Rule will apply. Contestants must have attended 50% of the Region rodeos to qualify for the INFR. 3. Year End champions are declared by most points won in the season including the finals. If there is a tie, we will revert to most money won. 4. Average points will be awarded at the Finals. 5. Year End points at the finals will be awarded to 10 places, 10 for 1 st, 9 for 2 nd, 8 for 3 rd, 7 for 4 th, 6 for 5 th, 5 for 6 th,, 4 for 7 th, 3 for 8 th, 2 for 9 th and 1 for 10 th. 6. The Finals or Sudden Death Finals will be two full go rounds and an average. 7. Year-End Champions will be determined AFTER the Regional Finals and include Regional Finals average points. 8. Region Finals winner or Sudden Death winner will be determined by the fastest total time from both days or the highest total score on two head of bucking stock from both days (i.e. Average Winner). 9. INFR qualifications: a. Year end and finals winners will represent the Region, unless they have qualified in the Top Ten of the Tour Standings.(with the exceptions to the team roping) b. The following conditions apply: 1. Only contestants that have competed at 50% of the Region rodeos in that event can qualify as year-end and finals winners. 2. If only one contestant has competed at 50% of the rodeos in that event, that contest will win the year end. c. If the Year end and finals winners are the same person, that contestant must take his/her finals seat, and the 2 nd place in the year end will be awarded the Year end seat. (Example: Joe Moe won 1 st in the Calf Roping at the Sudden Death Finals, but he qualified in the Tour, in the Calf Roping. Joe Moe must take his Tour seat to the INFR. John Jack is 2 nd in the Sudden Death Finals in the Calf Roping, John takes the Sudden

2 Death seat to the INFR; Sara White won 1 st at the Sudden Death Finals, but she won the Year End, Sarah must take her Sudden Death seat, and Brandy Johnson, is 2 nd in the Year End, then Brandy will go to the INFR in the year End seat, and so on until there is a Sudden Death seat and a Year End seat to the INFR.) d. If there is no sudden death or finals winner (no qualified times or scores in an event for the finals rodeo), the 2 nd place Year End finisher will go or 3 rd place Year End, or on down the standings, until the seat is filled, in the Sudden Death or finals seat to the INFR. 10. Team Roping: 1. Team Ropers remember if your enter with a partner and you win sudden death, you must go as a team. If you enter with a partner and do not want to go to the INFR with that partner you must declare such at the time of entry. It will be noted and posted as such. 2. Finals/Average winners must rope together at the INFR. If they don t want to rope together they forfeit their position as a team and then the 2 nd place team finishers will rope at INFR. 3. Team Roping Exceptions see INFR Rule Book, B4.1.4 & Jr/Sr Qualifications to the INFR will be the year-end standings winners and the Region Finals sudden death/average winner. 12. Region qualifiers (Year-End and Sudden Death) must declare/decline their position at the INFR through the WSIRA secretary immediately after the conclusion of the Finals. 13. INFR fees must be paid, and paper work turned in to region secretary immediately after the conclusion of the WSIRA Finals. Anybody leaving the rodeo grounds without paying the INFR fee will revoke/decline their position at the INFR. NO EXCEPTIONS. Western States Indian Rodeo Association: Region 3 UIRA Regional Finals Format September 13 & (2014)? Location: TBA *Open to any cardholder of any region regardless if they have points; * The 50% Rule applies for qualification to INFR in all events (Tour events and Jr./Sr. Events)

3 * Contestants will compete in two separate rodeos. NO AVERAGE POINTS or PAYOUTS * Tie Breaker: IF there is a tie for Sudden Death or Year-end winners going to the INFR there will be a rope, ride or run off at the finals rodeo. * The Regional Finals (Sudden Death) Champions will be determined by the AVERAGE Champion from both rodeos. * The Year-end Champions be determined after the Region Finals based on total points. NO sudden death winner will advance in ROUGH STOCK just the Year-End Winner IF the Year end and Finals winners are the same person, that contestant must take his/her finals seat, and the 2 nd place in the year end will be awarded the Year end seat and there must be a sudden death and a year-end seat for timed event.( Example: Joe Plumber won 1 st in the calf roping at the sudden death Finals, but he qualified in the Tour, in the calf roping. Joe Plumber must take his tour seat and John Bush is 2 nd in the sudden death Finals in Calf Roping, John takes the sudden death seat to the INFR. Sarah Henry won 1 st at the Sudden Death finals but she won the year end. Hillary Johnson, is 2 nd in the year end, then Hillary will go to the INFR in the year end seat, and so on until there is a sudden death seat and year end seat to the INFR) Team Roping o Per INFR Rule Book B4.1.3, B , B4.1.4 Finals winners must rope together at the INFR. IF they don t want to rope together, then the 2 nd place finishers will rope at the INFR * To be eligible for Year End and Finals Awards you must have 50% of Regional Rodeos. SR/JR Events: The two (2) qualifiers to the INFR will be * Year-end Champion AND the Finals Champion;

4 Region 5 NPIRA 2014 Regional Finals Format September 20-21, 2014 Millers Horse Palace, Laurel, MT The NPIRA Region Finals will be formatted as follows: * Open to any cardholder of any region regardless if they have points; * The 50% Rule applies for qualification to INFR in all events (INFR Main events and Jr./Sr. Events). Cardholders with less than 50% of the rodeos may compete at NPIRA Regional Finals for prize money only and not INFR qualification. * Contestants will compete in two full rounds and an average with payout and points (10-1) for each round and the average. * The Regional Finals Champions will be determined by the AVERAGE champion. * The Year-end Champions be determined after the Region Finals based on total points including the Regional Finals two rounds and average points. SR/JR Events: The two (2) qualifiers to the INFR will be * the Year-end Champion after Regional Finals AND the Regional Finals Average Champion; Regional Finals Draw Position: Saturday s draw order will be by year-end standings coming into the Regional Finals. Sunday s order will be according to Saturday s results to determine Sudden Death winners. Contestants may trade in Saturday s draw. Entry Number Entries open/close September 8 th. 5 Region 6 Region Finals Format: - NNRA Region Finals DATE: September 13 & 14, 2014 PLACE: Bluff, Utah The Name Region Finals will be formatted as follows: Utah Navajo Fair - NNRA Regional Finals *Open to any cardholder of the INFR regions regardless if they have points who have attended 50% or more Region rodeos. *The 50% applies for qualifications to INFR in all events (Tour events and JR/SR Events) *Contestants will compete in two full rounds and an average with payout for each round and points (10-1) for each round and the average. No average payouts. *The Regional Finals (Sudden Death) Champions will be determined by the AVERAGE Champion. *The Year-End Champions determined AFTER the Region Finals based on the total year-end points, including average points. Region 7 GREAT PLAINS INDIAN RODEO ASSOCIATION 2014 REGION FINALS FORMAT Date: September 13 & 14, 2014 Location: Rosebud Casino, SD Two full Go-Rounds with Average Three equal payouts & three equal points will be distributed Added Money (minimum may add more money if more sponsorship is found) o INFR Events - $1000 per payout - $3000 Total o Sr Events - $500 per payout - $1500 Total o Jr Events - $100 per payout - $300 Total Fees o INFR Events - $200 Per Event + one time $20 Office Charge $60 Perf #1 Payout

September 19 & 20, 2014 in Lawton, Oklahoma Region 8 1. The 2014 Region 8 finals will be open to All Eligible Members and must be financial and membership eligible; Team Ropers remember if your enter with a partner and you win sudden death, you must go as a team. 2. Timed events the 50% rule will apply. Rough stock events may be waived in

7 order to get entries. 3. Year End champions are declared by most points won in the season including the finals, and average points awarded at the finals. 4.. Year End and average points at the finals will be awarded to 10 places, 10 for 1st, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, 7 for 4th, 6 for 5th, 5 for 5th " 4 for yth, 3 for ath, 2 for gth and 1 for 10th. 5. The Finals or Sudden Death Finals will be two one day rodeos, With an average payout. 6. Finals winner or Sudden Death winner will be determined by who had the fastest times on both days or the highest scores on one or two head of bucking stock on both days. With an average payout. 7. INFR Rule Book, Jr/Sr Qualifications to the INFR: Per INFR New 2013 Rule amendment: The year end winner and one finals qualifier (sudden death winner) See addendum : Addendum: The AMAIRA Region finals will be held on September 19 & 20, 2014 in Lawton, Oklahoma It will be 2 Full go-rounds. It will be open to all members, regardless of how many points they have, and must have competed in 50% of our region rodeos. The Year- End Champion will be determined after the Region Finals with the inclusion of points earned at the finals to determine the Year-End Champion. The Finals Champion will be determined by the Average winner of their event after the 2 go rounds. Entry fees will not be greater than the amount added in the purse for both INFR and Jr/Sr events. The Sr/Jr INFR qualifiers will be determined as follows: The Year-end Champion and the Finals Champion. If the Year-End and Finals Champion are the same then we will drop down to the Year End Runner-up for the 2nd person. This format was discussed in an AMAIRA Board meeting and approved.

9 Prepared by: Darla Hall,AMAIRA Secretary Region 9 KMIRA 2014 Regional Finals Format August 30-31, 2014 The KMIRA Regional Finals will be formatted as follows: * Open to any cardholder of any region, (regardless if they have points). The 50% Rule applies for qualification to INFR in all events (INFR Main events and Jr./Sr. Events). Therefore, the cardholder must also have competed in 50% or more of KMIRA rodeos to enter our Regional Finals. * Permit holders will not be allowed to enter KMIRA Regional Finals. * * Contestants will compete in two full rounds with payout and points for each round. Average winner will be determined with times and scores from both rodeos. Points will be given for both rodeos and average. Highest total points will determine the Sudden Death Winner. Example: Rodeo points Rodeo points Average 10-1 points. *Only Timed Events take the Sudden Death (Regional Finals Champions) and Year-end winners to INFR. *Rough Stock Events only take the Year-End Winner to INFR. * The Regional Finals Champions will be determined by the AVERAGE champion and will represent KMIRA at the INFR. A Championship Buckle will be awarded. * The Year-end Champions be determined after the Regional Finals based on total points including the Regional Finals two rounds and average points. *The Year-end Champions will represent KMIRA at the INFR and will be awarded a Year-end Championship Saddle. If any Region Champions are in the tour standings the next place contestant/team will be moved up. SR/JR Events:

10 The two (2) qualifiers to the INFR will be * the Year-end Champion after Regional Finals AND the Regional Finals Average Champion; Regional Finals Draw Position: Random Draw Entry Number (509) Entries open/close from August 18 th from 3:00 8:00 p.m. Call Backs August 20 th from 8:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m. Must have INFR Tour or Jr./Sr. Card for call-in entries. For information call (509) or visit Region 10 Submitted to INFR July 10, 2014 NANCA 2014 Regionals Finals Format Time & Place TBA The NANCA Region Finals will be open to any cardholder of any region under the following conditions: 50% rule applies Top 12 members in the standings for Major rough stock. * in the event there are not 12 with points NANCA will take entries from members in good standing in order to fill the 12 positions. These members will ride for day money and Finals points only. Top 12 members in the standings for Major timed events. Top 10 members in the standings for Sr. and Jr. events. Contestants will compete in three full rounds with NO AVERAGE. Daily payouts with points (10-1) will be awarded each day. Region Finals Champions will be decided on points alone. Ties will revert to money won. If still tied, then a ride off or rope off will determine the Finals Champion. Season Champions will be determined after the Regional Finals based on total points including the Regional Finals three rounds.

11 Region Finals Draw Position: Day 1 draw order will be based on year-end standings coming into the Regional Finals. Day 2 draw order will be based on results from Day 1. Entry Number Entry dates TBA Region SWIRA Region Finals Format September 13, 2014 Region Finals Rodeo will be 2 full go-rounds with each go-round acting as a separate rodeo therefore no average will be awarded in payout or points. The 50% Qualification Rule will apply to the 2014 SWIRA Regional Finals Rodeo. The 50% Qualification Rule defines a qualified contestant as one who has participated in 50% of the rodeos, which have included their event(s), during the regular rodeo season. Conversely, an unqualified contestant is one who has not participated in 50% of the rodeos, which have included their event(s) during the regular season. Regardless of prize money won, points will be awarded on a 10-point system: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 point where 10 points is first and 1 point is for tenth. Ten places will be awarded to the top 10 qualifying times and scores in each go-round. No points will be awarded for average. A qualifier to the INFR does not need to compete at the Region Finals if he/she has enough points to still win the Year-end Championship at the conclusion of the Region Finals. Finals winner or Sudden Death winner will be determined by AVERAGE even though no average will be awarded or paid out. For events with no finals winner (no qualified times or scores), the region will not fill the finals seat. All major timed events, senior events and junior events at the Finals will have 1 finals/sudden death winner. For the major rough stock events, the finals/sudden death winner will not advance to the INFR.

12 The Year-End winner will be awarded to the contestant who has accumulated the most points during the entire season in each event. For the major rough stock events, only the year-end winner will advance to the INFR. For events where there is a tie for the Finals winners or Year End winners going to the INFR there will be a rope, ride or run off at the Region Finals Rodeo. Finals winners and Year end winners will represent the SWIRA, unless they have qualified in the Top Ten of the Tour Standings (exception to the team roping INFR Rulebook B4.1.4). For events where the year- end and finals winners are the same person, that contestant must take his/her finals/sudden death seat, and the 2 nd place, or on down in the year-end standings, will be awarded the year-end seat.
