2 Welcome Jo Bulls Black Herefords is a working ranch that develops cattle that know how to work. Our cattle summer on a Forest Range at 10,000 feet in elevation. The permit requires them to travel and work. The calves are weaned in the fall and the cows graze on a High Desert BLM permit during the winter. The water is scarce and the cows have to be able to walk across rough terrain. We are committed to raising bulls that know how to work and are not over conditioned. These bulls did not receive any creep feed and were raised by their mothers on range conditions. These bulls are out of the best genetics in the ABHA (look at our reference sires). We are offering these bulls private treaty. One of our favorite parts of ranching is the many visits by buyers to view our cattle. We appreciate all of the friends we have made over the years. We extend an invitation to you to come and see the bulls for yourself and to view our efficient cow herd. We believe it is difficult to find a herd that is as docile, hard working, and efficient as our herd. Please contact me to reserve your bull. We will hold the bulls until the end of February. We will PAP Test, and Trich Test every bull and will do a full Breeding Soundness Exam. Once the bull has passed all of these tests we will work with our buyers to get the bulls delivered. Payment is due when the bulls are delivered. (If a bull does not pass all the tests, Jo Bulls will work to find another bull for the buyer). BULLS HEREFORDS PO BOX 706 CASTLE DALE, UTAH Brock Johansen (435) bjohansen@emerytelcom.com TRANSPORTATION/DELIVERY Jo Bulls will make trips into Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah, and will attempt to find central drop-off locations at no cost. Jo Bulls will also make a trip out to Kansas City, MO., and will haul bulls that far for $250.00/bull. We have relationships with other transporters that can deliver bulls past that point. Last year we sold bulls into Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Indiana, Virginia, and Tennessee. We are always able to work with our buyers to get the bulls delivered. Any other transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. The Crescent Hill Black Hereford bulls will be located in Kansas. SALE TERMS All sales are cash unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been agreed to by the buyer and the seller. The animal becomes the buyer s risk when the animal leaves the seller s property. Buyers are responsible to come and pick up the animals by approximately March 15th. The seller guarantees that all animals are eligible for interstate shipment as required by federal and state regulations, unless otherwise stated. HEALTH All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations. The seller will have a Trich Test and a PAP Test, along with a Breeding Soundness Exam performed on all bulls. Only bulls that have passed these tests will be sold. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the cattle. The livestock are sold as is, without any additional representation. It is the buyers responsibility to keep the animals healthy and in good working condition. The Seller recommends that yearling cattle be developed with proper feed and that the yearling bulls not be overworked. The Crescent Hill Bulls will not have a PAP test because the elevation in Kansas is not high enough to conduct a PAP test, but all are from PAP tested Jo Bulls. Design By: Leanna McGuire
