Movement was light to moderate. Dairy demand was light while demand from feedlots and other beef producers was moderate. Alfalfa movement into the state from out of state sources was moderate. Grass hay demand was fairly good for good quality Bermuda, wheat hay and native grass hay. Limited supplies and offerings of this type hay were noted. Recent rains and snow have left much of the state saturated and have ended any drought designations. Oklahoma Direct Feeder Cattle Trade Receipts: 5,549 Last Week 3,190 Last Year 3,342 Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers were to lightly tested last week on a Current FOB basis for a true market test. Receipts this week consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs and 27 percent heifers. Unless otherwise 3 stated prices are FOB weigh point with a 2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent slide on yearlings from base weights.
