Calves are age verified and were dehorned and weaned on Sept. 27th, being fed corn silage & balage with 5 lbs. of grain and Kenpal King of Creep pellet. The cow herd is annually vaccinated with Scourguard before calving and with Express 10 before breeding. All cows are vaccinated live annually prebreeding with express 10 and The older calves (up to and including D127) were vaccinated back in june with express and tasvax 8. The younger calves have not been done yet.the herd runs outside 24/7 all year round and are in their working clothes and fed pasture and hay only. This is a long established herd for 25 years and are selling due to shortage of feed.
