1 WELCOME FROM R+ SIMMENTALS Simmental sale Welcome to our 10th anniversary sale. It is with great pride we await March 7, We are very proud of the fact that we have sold the R PLUS BRAND into several top notch breeding establishments in Ontario- Manitoba-Saskatchewan-Alberta and British Columbia. We are also very proud that the R PLUS BRAND has been purchased by many prominent purebred and commercial ranchers in the United States. At R PLUS we run only Red and Black Simmental cattle and our goal is to produce moderate cattle with muscle, capacity and the ability to survive and produce on a native grass diet. Once again we are very pleased to have OBI working with us. Rob and his crew are very helpful in all aspects of running a sale. Rob has been involved with us since the planning of our first sale 10 years ago, and we thank him for that. We continue to use ultrasound as selection tool. The bulls will be evaluated after they reach a year of age. We look forward to seeing and meeting new and old customers at the ranch March 7. 5 Simmental sale A son of Master, selling as Lot 7 We purchased Master as a five year old bull from Neil Carson, Rossburn, MB. We had seen some calves from Neil s and were very impressed with their stoutness, do-ability and hair coats. Master combines some top black performance bulls with some Fleck influence on the bottom side from the super Haas Ranch D52 cow. There are 18 Master sons in the sale. BZL 203P We selected Prince for his phenotype, massive amounts of hair and excellent calving and milk # s. Prince is our go to bull for the heifer pen. A very sound, easy doing bull.
