Circuit Awards Circuit Awards will be awarded in every class except Small Fry, Lead-line, Barrels, & ABRA classes. Halter is not required for these awards. You must show all days the classes are held. Points will be tabulated on a nine point system. Everett S. Salley All Around Youth Award The High Point Youth Exhibitor will be awarded a leather briefcase. Halter is not required. Based on horse/rider combination and points will be tabulated on a nine point system on all AQHA Youth classes only. Mike Johnson s World s Richest Calf Roping Win your Entry Fee! The fastest time in the tie down calf roping on Dec. 30 wins their entry a value of $1,125 into Mike Johnson s World s Richest Calf Roping on January 1st. This award is based on the roper, not the horse. To qualify for the fastest time, a roper must have entered at least one tie down calf roping class EACH OF THE THREE DAYS OF THE CIRCUIT. The 23rd Annual Mike Johnson s World s Richest Calf Roping takes place on January 1, 2018 in the Ford Truck Arena. A total of 60 calf ropers will compete in three go rounds plus the Wrangler Chute Out. The Chute Out alone will pay out $15,000 to the winner! This year the calf roping is also a qualifying event for The American. To enter the qualifier, you must enter the Mike Johnson s World s Richest Calf Roping and pay an additional entry fee of $375.

6 PreRegistration/Entry Save time by sending in your information ahead of time! A copy of the horse s AQHA registration papers, the exhibitor s current AQHA membership card and a current (1 yr.) Coggins test is required to preregister and to enter at the show. You will not be allowed to show without a current Coggins. Include copies of these items with the Pre-Registration Master Sheet. You are not required to Pre-Register, but who wants to stand in line? Mail pre-registrations to Tulsa Holiday Circuit, P.O. Box 1004, Stillwater, OK You may also fax your PreRegistration to or HolidayCir@aol.com. Do not mail to Stillwater after Dec. 20, bring to show instead. Payment: Cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. There is a 4% surcharge on all credit card transactions. All bills must be settled by end of show. Tabs run only if an open, signed check is left at show office. Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 fee. Unpaid bills are reported to the AQHA. Rules of the Show Lead-line classes are 6 & Under and FREE. Small Fry walk-trot classes are 9 and Under. Horses do not have to meet AQHA ownership requirements but must be registered Quarter Horses. Exhibitors may not show in a loping class and enter the Small Fry classes, Youth and Adult Walk-Trot classes. Level 1 Walk-Trot classes are AQHA approved classes. Please remember that you cannot enter the corresponding loping/cantering class within that same show. However, that combination can switch back and forth between shows. All AWARDS and MONIES must be picked up at the show or be forfeited they will not be shipped/mailed. Oklahoma state law requires every horse entering the grounds possess a current (1 yr.) Coggins. You will not be allowed to show without a current Coggins. Working order in individually worked classes will be drawn for. YOU MUST GO IN ORDER. You must ride in your heat in rail classes. Working orders will be announced and posted. Gate calls will be strictly enforced. Tie breakers for all awards: 1st - Most number of classes shown pertaining to that award; 2nd - Most number first places, second places, etc.; 3rd - Flip a coin. Patterns will be posted near the entrance of each arena. No exhibition runs will be allowed. Youth and amateur classes will receive ribbons. If we miss you in the arena, you can pick them up at the show office. All exhibitors must have current 2017 AQHA INDIVIDUAL memberships to compete. Memberships can be purchased at the show office. The Ford Truck Arena & Mustang Arena will be open for riding after the conclusion of each day s performance until 6:00am the following morning. It was organized in 1963, then reorganized and incorporated in It is a non-profit organiza on whose purpose is to collect, record and preserve the pedigrees of Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun and Grulla horses and ponies.
