Cattle Tick Treatment of Stock Returning to Clean Areas: Livestock returning to the cattle tick protected free areas must be sprayed To be eligible to have the approved person treat your stock you will need a Queensland Travel Permit issued by your local Stock Inspector and a fully completed Queensland Livestock Movement System Move Easy Waybill. Finalists to compete in Regional Final at Brisbane Valley West Moreton Sub Chamber Finals Junior handler must be between the ages of 10 and 15 years of age and Senior Handler between 16 and 25 years of age (on the day). If competing at State Final Competitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Paraders may lead a Steer, Heifer or Bull under 20 months. (one animal per entrant) Paraders must wear a dust coat or Breed Society Uniform. Paraders will parade their animals in a clockwise manner as is normal in a Beef Cattle Ring at the discretion of the Judge. 4

Trophy & Prize Money donated by Del Sharpe Hair Design & Queensland Times To be judged in European Ring at 7.30 a.m. sharp on Saturday 12 th May Calf Classic is open to all Stud Beef calves under 6 months of age. (Born on or after 1/11/2010). Calves from British, European and Tropical Breeds are eligible and may be entered in cow - calf class. Calf to be paraded by a Junior Handler aged 12 years & under. Prize awarded for presentation of calf and handler s ability. CLASS 2 FANCY DRESS CALF No Entry fee. All entries receive $10-00 and Ribbon To be judged during the Grand Parade in main ring. Open to all calves under 6 months of age (male, female, steer, cross breed, dairy) AND paraded by a handler aged between 5 years & 17 years, accompanied by an Adult. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE ALL CHILDREN 13 YEARS & UNDER LEADING CATTLE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. EXHIBITORS ALLOWING CHILDREN TO LEAD CATTLE AT ANY TIME DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK AND ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INCIDENT WHICH MAY OCCUR. THE BOONAH SHOW SOCIETY OR ANY OF ITS MEMBERS WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY WHICH MAY OCCUR THROUGH ANY SUCH INCIDENT. 5
