2 WELCOME TO C-BAR RED ANGUS Welcome to all our friends, family, neighbors, and fellow cattlemen. I want to thank everyone who is taking time to read this catalog and for showing interest in us and our cattle operation. I am thankful for those who have assisted us over the years to build this program. I am very appreciative of the businesses and friends who have believed in Cindy and I and been so supportive and helpful over the last two years to allow us to get to this point in our ventures. Also, to Mark and Sheryl Hettervig who have invested with us and given us the opportunity to be ambi- I could talk about individual animals in the sale and how Red Angus are on the horizon of such great things to come, but reading this catalog unless you realized the opportunities of Red Angus. I would like to share with you a couple of things you might not know about C-Bar. purchase of Abigrace in January of Many people have sayings or slogans that their goal is only about their customers success. I applaud this ethic but must say without apology that we are raising the type and kind of Red Angus that suit our customers. The cattle we are running in our pastures are ones that do what I want cows to do. I am not following what some pronounced the proceeds from our two businesses, C-Bar Ranch and Cedar Bluff Lodge. Two years ago we became totally dependent upon bills. For that reason we are selling cattle at the very top of our calf crop. Additionally we are digging deep into our herd and selling females that were not intended to be sold. We are proud of the cattle we are offering you. We want to give everyone a special invite to be at the ranch on Wednesday, afternoon October 28th. The cattle will be on display and we will have a steak supper and refreshments to celebrate. She is one of the stoutest F442 daughters you will find anywhere. Modest on milk but exceptional on muscle and growth. Flush sisters are also working in the A1 and Box herds in Texas. Their sister S607 has a set of flush sisters by Makin Hay in this sale, they were our top weaning wt group. She is broody and has a very soft look, gentle disposition and would make a very good lead cow for any herd or donor group. She is a sure candidate to become a donor. We tried to buy 503 in their dispersal sale but got out bid by Donnell and Kelly Brown. They got a great cow. We were able to raise several daughters by 503 and can afford to let one go. We think this moderate heifer will make an exceptional cow.
