3 GENERAL RULES- PLEASE READ 1. Any exhibitor who violates any of the following rules will forfeit premiums and privileges. 2. No animals or equipment loading or unloading will be allowed on the front side of the livestock barn. 3. Fairgrounds gates open at 7 am and close at 10 pm sharp. You will not be able to leave or enter the fairgrounds after 10 pm, until 7 am the next day. 4. All female sheep & goats must have permanent Scrapie ear tags inserted in ears or tattoos to be eligible to show in the Spring Classic. 5. All exhibits will be under the control of the show management. The Clackamas County Stockman s Association WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any loss or damage that may occur. 6. The Clackamas County Stockman s Association will reserve to the show management the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and regulations and arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, questions and differences arising from these rules and regulations. 7. Animals will be received from 3 pm to 9 pm, Friday, May 28, All animals must be in place by 7:30 am, Saturday, May 29, INITIAL BEDDING CHIPS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED. SHAVINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A FEE. NO STRAW OR CEDAR SHAVINGS ALLOWED. 9. It would be greatly appreciated if pens were cleaned upon completion of show. This would help us to keep the costs down. 10. If circumstances do not allow us to hand out premium checks following the show, they will be mailed to the exhibitor by June 30, This show is open to junior exhibitors age 21 years of age and under. 12. In order to be shown by breed there must be a minimum of six head with two separate exhibitors for all species. If minimum is not met they will be placed in the all other breeds classes. All final decisions on classes will be determined by each species superintendent. 13. Showmanship classes will be divided by grade: Advanced Senior: Out of School through 21 years of age Senior: 10-12; Intermediate: 7-9; Junior: 4-6 There will also be a Pee Wee class. 14. Beef animals must be halter broke to lead and tied with halter and neck rope at show. 15. Original registration papers on all purebred breeding animals must be brought to the show and produced by the exhibitor at the request of show management. If purebred animal is leased, proper lease documentation must be presented. If documentation is not produced animals will be placed in the crossbred show. 16. All lambs and hogs must be inspected prior to unloading or weigh in by show management or show vet for any unhealthy or unsightly diseases and may be required to leave the show. 17. Junior and Pee Wee showman may use lamb halters. 18. Sheep showmen cannot brace sheep in a manner so the forelegs are lifted off the ground. 19. Generators only allowed in designated areas, not in buildings. NO EXCEPTIONS 20. To be eligible for entry in the Spring Classic Show all animals that are coming from outside the State of Oregon must obtain proper health papers. To obtain a permit call the Oregon State Veterinarians office at ext # Camping is available in the front field of the fairgrounds. Camping will be paid to the livestock office. 22. NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS - YOU WILL BE ASKED TO TAKE THE DOG HOME. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Supreme Champion will be selected from the Champions of each breed. Steer Entries: Steers will be divided into the following classes by show management based on the final weigh-in weights. Light Weight, Middle Weight, Light Heavy Weight, and Heavy Weight. There will be one Champion Steer and Reserve Champion Steer selected from the first and second place animals from each class. Futurity: If you purchased a heifer or steer last November at our Club Calf Sale you are eligible to show in the Futurity Class at Spring Classic. If your animal is eligible please fill out the regular entry form. PREMIUM SCHEDULE Ribbons: Will be given to the top seven in each class Premiums: 1 st -$35, 2 nd -$25, 3 rd -$20, 4 th -$15, 5 th -$10 Grand Champion Steer $300 Reserve Champion Steer $150 Breed Champions and Reserve Champions will Receive Rosettes Supreme Champion Female Over All Breeds $300 Futurity: 1 st -$200, 2 nd -$125, 3 rd -$100, 4 th -$75, 5 th -$50 In order to qualify for the futurity premiums you must have purchased the heifer or steer at the Clackamas County Stockman s Club Calf Sale.

There rules are as follows. 1. Youth are to be 18 years of age or under. 2. All youth must be junior members of the Oregon Pork Producers. Junior membership is $5 per calendar year. For membership please send a separate check made payable to the Oregon Pork Producers. 3. All Oregon Pork Producer membership dues must be paid on or before the day of the show. 4. Gilts entered in the breeding classes are not eligible for the market classes. Market/Prospect: Entries will be divided into weight classes at the discretion of the show management. Show order will start with Light Weight and go through Heavy Weight. All Swine must weigh between 50 and 280 pounds and be seven months or less of age. Weights from 50 to 229 pounds will be classed as Prospect, and those from 230 to 280 pounds will be classed as Market. Premium Schedule Ribbons: Will be given to the top seven in each class.
