All cattle over 42 days old to be TB tested, in line with current legislation. The Grand Parade will be led by the Heavy Horse Turnouts, to be followed by all placed cattle and horses. All trophy winners to be available to collect their awards at the presentation. Sheep Trophies to be presented at the time of award Winners will be given a card, to present to the Trophy Secretary after the Grand Parade, to sign for their Trophy at the Secretary s Pavilion All cups etc. to be held for one year, unless otherwise stated. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TROPHY WINNERS 2016 All winners of Cups, Trophies and Plaques must return them to the Secretary, address on front of schedule, or Johnson Jewellers, Grange over Sands on or before the 30 June The cups etc are the responsibility of the winner until they are in the hands of the Society. Proof of posting will be required if the article is lost or alleged to be lost in the post. Cups, etc. should be clearly labelled with the name and address of the winner, and the class for which it was awarded. Entries close 16 July 2016 NOTICE FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS The Society intends to promote a safe show and require that all exhibitors be fully aware of their responsibilities. Compliance with the rules of the Society; Health and Safety Executive guidelines and specific HSE Guidance notes is expected, particularly on the following matters: Exhibitors should be familiar with HSE Guidance B Note GS36 with regard to the safe handling of bulls. Children must not be allowed to handle large fractious animals, Exhibitors must use the segregated areas for movement of livestock as directed by stewards. Exhibitors must read and comply with the requirements of the Society s Health and Safety Policy.

EXHIBITORS MUST BE AWARE AND ADHERE TO ALL DEFRA S CURRENT REGULATIONS TO SHOW DAY; FOR ANIMALS, HEALTH SCHEMES, BIO-SECURITY ETC. ALL cattle must be pre movement tested: TB testing charts (TB52c) to provide confirmation that the tested cattle can be moved must be submitted with passports on entry to the showground. Calves to be at least 42 days old. THE SOCIETY OFFERS A CONTRIBUTION TO TB TESTING PER HOLDING FOR CATTLE THAT ATTEND THE SHOW. VEHICLE PASSES ONLY WILL BE ISSUED TO LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS FOR ENTRY TO THE SHOW. MILKING FACILITIES WILL BE PROVIDED. EXHIBITORS TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN STRAW BEDDING. ALL BULLS OVER 2YRS OLD SHOULD BE LED BY TWO PERSONS.See HSE guidance note AIS35 IF ANY COW ENTERED AS DRY HAS CALVED, IT WILL BE ALLOWED TO SHOW IN THE IN- MILK CLASS. ALL ANIMALS TO BE HALTER TRAINED STRICTLY NO MOVEMENT OF LIVESTOCK VEHICLES ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE SHOWFIELD BEFORE THE GRAND PARADE.
