SOLD UNDER NATIONAL CONDITIONS OF SALE Copies Available At The Market Office Cheque/Payment Our terms are payment on the day and to charge interest on overdue accounts. Intending Purchasers not known to the Auctioneers, must produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable Banker s reference. Under new regulations introduced by the Bankers such references are now obtainable by them direct from their Bank. Unless an acceptable Banker s Reference is produced PAYMENT IS STRICTLY CASH ON THE DAY OF THE SALE. The Auctioneers reserve the right to withhold purchases until cheques are cleared. HEALTH & SAFETY Please take extreme care when in the cattle penning areas. Loading and Unloading - please use the side gates and chains and ensure dock gates are kept closed. No children in cattle penning areas No public in cattle areas once selling has commenced. Please use hand washing facilities after handling livestock. MARKET OPENING TIMES The Market drive gates are locked from 9pm to 6am Customers are respectfully requested to keep noise to a minimum if loading or unloading during early morning or late evening All farmers and buyers need a free parking permit for market days. (available from the market office) Please make sure yours is valid REFRESHMENTS Refreshments are available from Farmers Feast Cafe in the Agricultural Business Centre. REMOVAL OF STOCK We strongly believe that it is in the best interests of the cattle to be delivered to the purchasers farm on the day of sale. If you are planning to buy please ensure that you have transport on standby to remove your cattle on the sale day as soon as possible and no later than 9pm. TB All vendors have signed a declaration confirming that if the cattle are over 42 days on the day of sale that they are from a 4 year testing parish or if from a 1 year testing parish that the cattle have had a clear TB test within 60 days of the sale Lot 1 to Lot 31 (see photo) is a reduction of the long-established, Lower Hurst herd of organic, pedigree Hereford Cattle, the property of Andrew Sebire, Lower Hurst Farm, Hartington. The sale follows the buildup in herd numbers and a surplus of cattle from the same female families. Bulls from the prizewinning Romany and Dendor herds have been used recently along with the Superior Carcase Sire, Lisrace Liberty. Notes The Cows have had a Copper/Selenium Bolus in Mid-September and the calves will be done before sale. The herd has been vaccinated in the spring for Lepto and BVD. The herd is in the SAC Premium Health Scheme.
