2 Wednesday Saddle Horse Events OPEN Trail in Hand Exhibitor does not have to be a Lake County 4H member (Horse must be stabled on Fairgrounds- no horses may trailer in for this event) Wednesday 1 P.M. Plaisted Ring Entry fee is $5.00 per class Must supply own exhibitor number 1) Minis 3) Mule/Donkey 2) Saddle Horse 4) Draft 5) Youth 8 years and under A) *Grand Champion Trail in Hand * A trail pattern will be provided for each division. The 1st and 2nd place winners of each division are eligible to compete in the Grand Champion Class. Class 5 is only for youth age 8 or younger and they may show any breed of horse. 4-H Trail Competition (English or Western) Wednesday 3 P.M. Horses exhibited in this show must be a registered Lake County 4-H member's project horse that is stabled at the Fair. * Not eligible for any other riding class. **30 & over classes are open to any parent/guardian or advisor of a current Lake County 4-H member and must be 30 years old and over. *** Open classes are open to any parent/guardian, advisor, or alumni of Lake County 4-H. **** Open to all riders who is a parent/guardian, advisor, or alumni. Class will not canter. Youth must be a current Lake County 4-H member. The youth will ride one way of the ring and the adult will ride the other direction. The adult rider must be at least 10 years older than the youth. ***** Walk/Trot classes are open to any parent/guardian, advisor, or alumni of Lake County 4-H. This class
6 will not canter and is not eligible in any cantering class. ****** All horses must be led at all times. You must supply your own handler. Mounting blocks are optional, but must be carried by your handler.
