2 5 Show Type: O Split/Combined Any consecutive shows combined to be one show with classes split over consecutive days, with two to four judges and two to four sets of points judging independently of one another while holding classes only once. Maximum combination of shows in one day will be up to four shows; no more than four judges are allowed in the ring at one time. O Double Judge-Double Pointed Livestock & fair shows which meet eligibility O Single Day O Level 1 A minimum of 6 Level 1 youth and 6 Level 1 classes must be offered. An instructional clinic/seminar must be held in conjunction with the show. An AQHA Professional Horsemen Association must be used as the clinician or panelist. The judge for the show may not serve in this capacity. The show may be held over two days, however, only one set of points will be awarded. O Introductory Show Classes/Shows for organizations or individuals wishing to include AQHA classes in their already scheduled Open, All Breed or 4-H shows. Introductory Shows do not retain priority date status and points do not count towards the World Show qualifying or Incentive Fund payout. No cattle or over fence, classes will be offered. O Special Event A maximum of two class types will be allowed per special event. State affiliates may request two Special Events by category, per state. O Alliance Event A maximum of two class types will be allowed per alliance event. These are events hosted by an AQHA alliance partner such as National Cutting Horses Association, National Reining Horse Association, National Reined Cow Horse Association National Snaffle Bit Association, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, etc. O Equestrians with Disabilities This competition is open to people with physical or mental disabilities that love competing with American Quarter Horses. Classes can be held at AQHA-approved shows and events or can be stand-alone events. 6 Was this show held last year? 3 Statement of Cooperation in Drug Testing On behalf of the management of the show listed above, I agree to cooperate fully with the American Quarter Horse Association representative, or any organization approved by AQHA, in conducting drug or altered tail testing at this show. If notified by an AQHA representative, or any organization approved by AQHA, that testing is to be conducted at this show, show management will provide a minimum of three adjoining stalls in a location near the show arena. There will be no charge for these stalls. Disclaimer of Responsibility for Participant Safety AQHA does not assume responsibility for the safety of participants. As an express condition for grant of AQHA s approval of this show, show management accepts full responsibility for condition of show premises, including arena, exercise area, and spectator sections; the conduct and competence of show employees and other representatives; implementation of show activities and events; and all other aspects of this show. Indemnity Against Loss Further, show management agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AQHA from any and all liability, if any, arising to AQHA by virtue of its granting show approval, and if AQHA is sued in court of law, to defend it at our expense, and if judgement be taken against AQHA, to pay said judgement and obtain written release in form acceptable to AQHA. A youth division may be approved separately or in conjunction with an AQHA-approved show for all ages provided at least four approved youth performances events are offered. Showmanship at halter and either western pleasure or western horsemanship, plus at least two other performance event, must also be offered. 4. Minimum of four (4) performance classes are required for approval of the amateur division. 5. The entry fees are to be completed only if they are different from the entry fees section of the application. 6. Any amateur class may be offered as All-Ages and Select (50 & Over). 7. Youth and amateur halter classes are optional. If offered, halter must be offered as each individual age class. 8. Rookie and Level 1 (Novice) classes as well as Rookie and Level 1 (Green) with corresponding level classes may be held concurrent or separate (show management s option). 9.
