1 17 Moderator Cows with Calves 17 Registered Aberdeen-Influenced (Moderator Plus) Cow-Calf Pairs for Sale. All but two calves are out of a registered Red Angus bull (photo and info attached). As of April 12, 2018, 2 of the cows have not calved but could any day. Current calf ratio: 8 bulls and 8 heifers, with two of the bulls being out of Aberdeen bulls. These cows are high altitude, no frills, super-efficient, great maternal, and calving ease. Cows average 1,100-1,200 pounds (haven't run them across a scale). All are black, except one is black-white-face. Eight were bred and developed by Cow Cow Ranch and complete history and background (including sire and dam pictures, information, previous calving records, etc.) can be provided. $2,400/pair See attached pictures and information. 2 FAIRWYN'S POWER(FM2293) ("Power") Sire of eight of the cows offered. He was sired by BR NEW VISION 001H(FM15), one of the first two embryos imported into the United States. Power is the only registered fullblood bull out of BR New Vision. Power's dam was BRAMB. FAIRWYN'S NATESA(FF655), the dam of FAIRWYN'S MACHINE(FM1307). Power's IGenity results are at the end of this document, with comparison against the Commerical, Angus, and Aberdeen (Lowline) cows that had been tested at that time. 6 3B DAISY PREMESTAR(XF10491) ("804") In the years we've had her, this cow has produced some great calves. Her 2017 heifer was retained as a replacement. 8 MLAR BLACK TREASURE(XF16451) ("Treasure") A Power daughter that is quite possibly the best cow in the bunch--she's definitely one of the contenders. Her last 2 steers have been chosen as the animals for the kids to take to County Fair for 4-H. She does a great job. Pictured March 24, 2018 with her newborn bull calf sired by Red. 10 3B IRIS PRIMESTAR(XF10497) ("812") Good cow, raises a good calf. She currently has a black bull calf out of Red at her side that was born March 26, Lost her tag and we thought her number had been 812, so we call her on April 13,

11 MLAR FLUTTER(MF23522) ("Flutter") Out of Power and a registered classic Hereford cow, Lady (pictured below), Flutter is a great cow. She has produced calves that ran the gamut in colors: solid black, solid red, red white face, black white face. 12 MLAR POWER'S CHUNK(XF5959) ("Chunk") The oldest cow in the lot, at 11 years old, this female is awesome. She produces awesome, chunky calves. She is sired by Power and her dam, 916, was one of the first halfbloods ever produced in the US (her registration number was XF6!). She holds body condition all year long with no effort. 13 MLAR POWER'S ANNIE(XF9979) ("Annie") Out of a purebred Angus cow we named Maggie, who was the poster child for the American Angus Association, and Power, this cow is super! Holds condition like crazy (see those fat rolls?), breeds back on time, and raises an awesome calf (her 2017 calf is a 4H calf for 2018). Annie on 4/13/18 with her Red-sired heifer born 3/31/18 Annie in July 2017, her calf was born March 2017 so she was nursing at the time. Maggie, a Right Time granddaughter, was Annie's dam. Annie

She is a great cow, holds body condition year-round, and raises a great calf. 15 DAYSPRING MADDY(XF16524) ("275") This is a cow that has the best disposition! She's not a pet, but she was so calm in the chute that it was noticeable-- and we don't have any cow that is terrible in the chute. Raises a good calf and her calves had not have a problem nursing all four quarters. She has a heifer sired by Red at her side that was born April 4, with her heifer on April 13, with her newborn heifer on 4/4/ in December 2017 on fall pasture

16 MLAR POWER'S SUZY(XF14913) ("Suzy") Phenotypically phenomenal! This cow is gorgeous! Out of a Right Time granddaughter, and sired by Power, this cow has the production to back up her looks! Her 2018 Red-sired heifer was born on April 4, Suzy on April 12, 2018 with her heifer Suzy in July 2017, her 2017 calf was born 3/19/17, so she had been nursing 4 months at time of picture. 17 MLAR SURPRISE(MF23524) ("Surpise") A full sister to Suzy, she doesn't get the glory Suzy does, being the younger sister, but she is also phenotypically astounding and raises a good calf. Her dam, a Right Time granddaughter is pictured below. Surprise on April 13, 2018 with her Red-sired heifer calf born April 5, #16 was a Right Time granddaughter and passed on her looks to her heifers! Surprise

18 DAYSPRING ABBIE(MF21916) ("76") A good cow that does her job well. Her 2018 is a Red-sired bull calf was born on April 8, on April 13, Cows on fall pasture in the end of October

19 DAYSPRING DAISY MAE(XF18420) ("60") 75% American Aberdeen, but is the same size as the 50%. An easy-going girl that doesn't bring a lot of attention upon herself. Calved, unassisted, on April 15, 2018 with a Red-sired bull calf--the picture was taken about an hour before she calved

20 3B MINNIE MATRIX(XF10495) ("810") Last year her calf got out of position (front legs down) and was dead when we got it out. Put a Holstein calf, Julio, on her and she raised it as her own. It did look funny, since it was only a few months later that Julio was as tall as her! He still nursed and she loved him as her own. In 2016 she raised a good calf (pictured). Attractive cow and a good mama. She had a heifer, sired by Red, on April 24, pictured on April 13, with her % Aberdeen bull calf at 6 months (to the day) old

21 DAYSPRING ALLIE(MF21919) ("Dot") A deep, thick cow that holds her condition and raises a good calf. Dubbed her Dot for the white spot on her udder, which reminds me of Chunk and Luck's dam, #916. She is one that slips under the radar quite a bit because she's mellow and just rolls with the punches, but if really analyze her, she's a very attractive cow. 24 Cows on summer pasture on July 19, They had calved in March and April and were nursing. No extra feed was provided. Suzy in the forefront of the girls on fall pasture. Picture taken Dec 1, Only supplement was a trace mineral block.

25 Luck on 2/14/2015--was getting a whooping 15 lb. of hay/day, and feeding deer out of that. Luck is also the silloette used for our Cow Cow Ranch logo.
