Entry fee for the 2019 ROK Cup International Final to be held in October 2019 at the South Garda Karting circuit, Lonato, Italy. Supply of complete kart (OTK brand) and Vortex engine, race tyres, free paddock space and tent. Hotel accommodation and lunch for the race days for the driver. This prize is subject to the following conditions: Competitor must arrange appropriate Racing Licence and Racing Visa via KartSport New Zealand. Competitor must supply appropriate racing apparel which meets current CIK-FIA karting regulations (note Junior helmet requirements). Competitor and mechanic must arrange valid passports and travel Visas required for international travel to Italy. The respective mechanics must be over 18 years on and receive KartSport New Zealand s written approval. The respective mechanics must be assigned as the respective guardians for the period of the trip/competition. Supreme Kart Supplies and Vortex reserve the right to withhold the prize or reallocate the prize should the initial recipient loose his/her NZ Competition Licence after the 2019 National Schools Championships and before the 2019 ROK Cup International Final. Note: KartSport New Zealand Rule Q4.9 applies. ROK Cup International Finals prizes are awarded on a use it or lose it basis. Prizes are subject to minimum of 8 entries per class or by a joint decision made by the KartSport New Zealand Competitions Manager and the ROK Cup New Zealand Promoter. Series Trophies and Other Prizes/Awards Series Trophies Trophies will be awarded to the first three place getters in each class at the conclusion of the last Round of the Series. Page 2 of 5

3 2019 ROK CUP New Zealand Supplementary Rules Series Permit Number: 1913SP 1. Status of the ROK Cup New Zealand The Rok Cup New Zealand Series will be run in conjunction with selected KartSport Club signature events and KartSport New Zealand Championship events. Individual events will be subject to any further Supplementary Rules that the host Clubs may have pertaining to their respective event(s). 2. General Rules The Regulations, Codes, Rules, Procedures and Specifications of KartSport New Zealand apply as do these Series Supplementary Rules and any Event Supplementary Rules published by the host Clubs respectively. Where circumstances arise which are not, or are alleged not to be, provided for in the Supplementary Rules of the ROK Cup New Zealand, they shall be determined by a joint decision made by the KartSport New Zealand Competitions Manager and the ROK Cup New Zealand Promoter. 3. Classes Cadet ROK as per Rule E3.1.1 Vortex Mini ROK as per Rule E3.1.2 Vortex ROK DVS Junior as per Rule E3.1.5 Vortex ROK DVS Senior as per Rule E Competition Licence Rating As per respective event Supplementary Rules. (Minimum Tier 2. Some events will require Tier 1) 5. Rounds (Either Round 3A or 3B may be contested, not both.) Round 1 19/20 January 2019 CIK Trophy of NZ Hamilton Round 2 19/21 April 2019 NZ Sprint Championships Hamilton Round 3A or 2 June 2019 WPKA Championships Palmerston North Round 3B 1/2 June 2019 Sunbelt Series Nelson/Marlborough Round 4 13 July 2019 NZ Schools Championships Wellington 6. Event Formats As per individual event Rules and Supplementary Rules. 7. Series Points All four Rounds will count for Cadet ROK, Vortex Mini ROK and Vortex ROK DVS Junior classes. Only points from Rounds 1-3 will count for the Vortex ROK DVS Senior class. Series points will be awarded based on the confirmed results of the event. Round points will be awarded as follows: 1 st 50 points 4 th 44 points 2 nd 47 points 5 th 43 points 3 rd 45 points 6 th 42 points, etc Exclusion from Round No points. Ties Round - competitors tied for a placing will receive the same points Eg: First equal = 50 points each Ties Series Competitor with most Round wins is the overall winner. If still equal, the winner of the final round is declared the series winner If still equal, by a decision made in accordance with General Rules above. Page 3 of 5

4 8. Round Cancellation in Part or in Full Series Points will be awarded in accordance with the confirmed results for the event. No confirmed results = no Series Points awarded. 9. Series Registration Form The attached 2019 ROK Cup Series Registration Form must be used. A completed Series Registration Form together with the Series Registration Fee of $300 must be received no later than 11 January Round Entry Forms An Entry Form and Entry Fee payment for each Round must be completed in accordance with the respective host Clubs requirements and deadlines. 10. Series Points Eligibility To be eligible for Series points and Series trophies/prizes a competitor must be a resident of New Zealand and hold a KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence. Competitors from other countries contesting a Round(s) are not eligible for any Series points/prizes. Such competitors will be treated as a Technical Exclusion at each Round as per Rule P1.10 when determining points for the Series. 11. If the first placed competitor in 2019 ROK Cup Series for the Vortex Mini ROK, Vortex ROK DVS Junior or Vortex ROK DVS Senior classes is the same driver that won a seat to the 2019 ROK Cup International Final at either the 2019 CIK Trophy of NZ or the 2019 NZ Sprint Championships, then the respective seat will be offered to the second place getter from the 2019 ROK Cup series. Any further reallocation of ROK Cup International Final prizes will be at the discretion of Supreme Kart Supplies and KartSport New Zealand. 12. The $2000 of prize money will be awarded to the first placed competitor in the Vortex Mini ROK, Vortex ROK DVS Junior and Vortex ROK DVS Senior classes regardless of acceptance and eligibility for the seat at the ROK Cup International Final. This is to certify that I, the undersigned, submit this registration to compete in the 2019 ROK Cup New Zealand Series. I understand and accept that submission of this Registration Form constitutes an agreement with the organisers to take part in the above Series. I certify that the particulars supplied on this Registration Form are true and correct in every particular. INDEMNIFICATION: I acknowledge and agree to accept as a condition of registration that the CIK-FIA, MotorSport New Zealand, KartSport New Zealand, Supreme Kart Supplies, host Clubs, local City and District Councils, all sponsors and all or any members, officials or assistants of any of the above named and or known organisations, or their respective servants, officials, representatives, or agents shall not be under any liability whatsoever for any death or bodily injury, loss or damage which may be sustained or incurred as a result of my participation in the Series or events, howsoever such death or bodily injury, loss or damage is caused not withstanding that such death, injury, loss or damage may have been contributed to or caused by the negligence of the Inviting Club or KartSport New Zealand or any of their respective officials, servants, representatives or agents or by any other person. DECLARATION: I declare I have a current KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence with a rating applicable to the class registered for. I declare I am conversant with and will abide by all current KartSport New Zealand rules, regulations, codes and specifications governing kart racing, and that I will abide by any supplementary rules which apply and the directions and rulings of the Chief Steward of the day without losing my right to protest or appeal. I declare that I have no medical condition that may impede my ability to drive a kart in competition or practice. I declare that my kart and driving apparel will comply with all current KartSport New Zealand Rules and Specifications throughout this event. I declare that should I at the time of this event be suffering from any disability of any kind whether permanent or temporary which is likely to detrimentally affect my control of my kart or my fitness to drive, I will not participate. I declare that I will not make use of drugs or of prohibited methods such as are defined by the Intoxicating Liquor and Drug regulations of KartSport New Zealand. I declare that I give consent to the details contained on this Registration Form being held by KartSport New Zealand and/or the Organising Promoter/Club for the purpose of the promotion and benefit of the Series/event concerned, and KartSport in general.
