ABOUT THE EVENT Barber Beast on the Bay is an extreme obstacle course challenge that takes place along Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park. The total course length is a grueling 10 miles.

Participants should prepare to scale walls, traverse bodies of mucky water and race through wooded trails!

2 ABOUT THE EVENT Barber Beast on the Bay is an extreme obstacle course challenge that takes place along Lake Erie at Presque Isle State Park. The total course length is a grueling 10 miles. The obstacle course is designed by a team of competitive Obstacle Course Racers who have some hardcore challenges in store for competitors. Participants should prepare to scale walls, traverse bodies of mucky water and race through wooded trails! The event will begin at Beach 11 and end at Waldameer Park where spectators and participants can chill out, have a beer, grab a bite to eat and enjoy some music. This day-long event is a great opportunity for sponsors to connect with a large gathering of participants, family and friends. The Adapted course is a 1.2 mile obstacle course offered for adults with disabilities. This unique event will offer customized sponsorship opportunities. All proceeds from this event benefit the Barber National Institute, an organization committed to Making dreams come true for children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities. Registration discounts are offered to those who want to help raise funds for individuals with developmental disabilities. Each obstacle can be designed and built by the sponsoring organization (subject to approval by Barber Beast on the Bay). So have fun, get creative and come up with a way to Beat the Beast!
