10 Race Officials A race s success depends on the number of qualified volunteered officials officials required per race All new parents are highly encourage to take Level 1 training January 10 or 11, h30-11h30 : Theory 13h00-14h00 : Practical Get experience Level 2 Officials: yearly in Fall SJ

21 Race day routine Scratches: inform NG level rep in advance of race if known Race day Arrive at hill at 7:45 Each athlete will receive a bib Course inspection Warm-up with coaches Be present at lunch time Be present at medal time Bring cash for ticket Bring lunch- do not rely on cafeteria- no microwave AF

24 Parent Expecations Edelweiss ID card with health card info in athlete jacket pocket Guardian (if other than parent) identify themselves to coach each training or race day If athlete is leaving training or race early - notify coach NL

25 Athlete of the month award Six levels (NG Saturday, NG Sunday) (U10, U12, U14, U16) Given in mid Jan, mid Feb, mid March. Up to 6 awards per coach NL
