2 inspiregirlsto be healthy and confident About Girls on the Run Girls on the Run is a ten-week program which meets twice weekly and inspires girls in grades 3-8 to be joyful, healthy and confident using an experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. The race series is the culminating achievement for hundreds of girls completing this highly interactive and engaging GOTR program that takes place in over 75 schools, parks and youth organizations across Northeast FL. Girls are joined by their volunteer coaches, parents, family, friends and community runners at the end of the season 5K for a huge celebration of health, inspiration and girl power. Nearly 2,500 people gather to run, cheer on and support the efforts of each of the girls taking part in the 5K. This event occurs twice annually once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Watch a quick video about Girls on the Run! About SoleMates SoleMates is the adult charity running leg of Girls on the Run. SoleMates is a team of male and female athletes who pursue individual goals, such as running a marathon or participating in a triathlon, to raise money for our local Girls on the Run program. Just as SoleMates members are changed by their experience, Girls on the Run uses running to transform the way girls see themselves and their opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to raise enough money to reach every girl, and to educate and prepare her for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living. GOTRNEFL SoleMates who run the Gate River Run are invited to a VIP EXPERIENCE at WJCT hat provides them and their guests, private parking, a safe place to stow their belongings as they run, refreshments pre and post race, as well as private flushable bathrooms and massages by licensed Physical Therapists. The VIP EXPERIENCE hosts approximately 250 people and is seen by all 20,000+ Gate River Run participants since we are located right at the start line. About The Cupcake Run The Cupcake Run and Cake Walk is a timed community 5K and fun run open to all of Northeast Florida. In our inaugural year, we anticipated around 500 participants and had 1,329 on race day! In our second year, we grew 50% and hosted 1,995 community runners and an additional spectators. In three years, we have raised over $94,000 to benefit the Girls on the Run Scholarship Program, engaging more girls in a healthy lifestyle. We want to continue to grow this event in every way! We want our Vendor Area to be almost as exciting as the Finish Line! You don t want to miss this opportunity to showcase your company to adults and children of all ages.
