1 Saturday, April 18, 2009 Hosted by Long Beach Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA LATE ENTRIES: CHECK-IN: WARM-UP: IMPORTANT INFO: TRAINER: AWARDS: LOCATION: Late entries will be accepted at the Clerks table between 8:00am and 9:30am the day of the meet. Entries received after 9:30am will not be accepted. Runners must check in with the clerk at the gate on the Southwest corner of the field at least 30 minutes before their event, or be scratched. Field event athletes must check in at the event site within 30 minutes of the start of their event. Warm-ups may be conducted outside the stadium on the grass fields southwest of the track, or on the West Discus field, behind the West bleachers. Please, no warm ups on the infield. Only 1/4 pyramid spikes, or 3/16 pyramids, will be accepted on the facility. In addition, only water is allowed on the infield area. To protect the track and field turf, back packs and travel bags will not be allowed within the perimeter of the track to prevent food and beverages (which are prohibited) from being brought into the competition area. Trainers will be located on the southwest corner of the track near the clerk area. Champion T-shirts will be given to the individual champions and relay teams in each event. Awards should be picked up by the winner at our sales booth located between the clerks tent and the results board on the South side of the West bleachers. Awards will be available once results are posted. Maps and directions to Cerritos College can be found at: PARKING: Team Parking will be provided for visiting teams. Otherwise, parking is $5 per vehicle and is available off of Alondra Blvd. in Student Parking lots C-1 and C-2. Maps and directions can be found on-line at: IMPLEMENT Implement weigh-ins have been relocated next to the clerks table on the south side of the West bleachers. Weigh-ins are scheduled between 7:30am and 10:45am, and again from 11:45am to 3:00pm.

2 HOG LINES: We will use hog lines with minimum distances for measurement in the horizontal jumps and throws at this year s event. We will measure the 1st attempt in the prelims regardless of whether it passes the hog line. The following distances apply: WOMEN MEN LJ = 17 LJ = 20 TJ = 36 TJ = 44 SP = 37 SP = 40 DT = 120 DT = 140 HT = 135 HT = 140 JT = 100 JT = 140 RULES: RESULTS: The meet will operate under NCAA rules. Wind gauges will be used for sprints and horizontal jumps. Horizontal jumpers and throwers will receive 3 attempts, and 8 will go to finals for 3 more attempts. Field markers will be used to measure all long throws both in prelims and finals.
