3 THE EVOLUTION PROGRESS & NEW TECHNOLOGY Evolution and technical changes has spread during many years of history and through many evolutions, Since the appearance of the first mechanical punchclock and the later electronic time clock units, a bigger conceptual change hasn t appeared never before like today. The new concept, BlueClocks is what we introduce to you: The BlueClock DATA CAPTURE AND PROCESS INTEGRATION Up till now and since the appearance of the first electronic punch clocks, its main purpose was to keep an accurate digital time and keep the punches produced with badges or biometric sensors. The processing data and the report generation was later obtained with Time attendance Software over PC With Blue Clock s NO Software is needed on your PC, Blue Clocks store and gather not only employee s punches, they also process the information and deliver s direct reports and any other complementary data to your PC screen, or to your printer or directly to Excel format. 3/14

4 WHAT S NEW! The BlueClock W38X has two different reader types, one biometric reader, FINGERPRINT type and a secondary proximity card reader. The model W38 has only the biometric FINGERPRINT reader. The Software is embedded directly in the BlueClock. BlueClock is a full multi-platform machine, which means that information and its processing is always obtained over any operating system, Windows, Mac OS or Linux. BlueClock s can be always updated, only internet connection is needed for that Reports obtained from the BlueClocks are fully configurable and can be obtained in Excel format on your PC screen or directly on paper. If internet is available in your office the W38 synchronize its time to your official zone time BlueClocks features also an Employee s site where each employee check is current time accruals or its authorized vacation dates.. 6 SOFTWARE SIMPLICITY: The Blue Clock s embedded Software is powerful and simple. Setting up a BlueClock, is straight forward, just a few steps are needed, power up the time clock and connect it to your LAN network. 1) Assign the ip, through the keypad 2) Start the software from your PC 3) Add your employees And you are up and running. 7 MULTI-OFFICE MIXED CONFIGURATION When a company has several working centers,blueclock is also the choice. Each working facility will have its own employee tracking Software. In your headquarters BluemetriX Software will concentrate whole the information of your offices and so the management of its. NETWORKED OPERATION Each remote location can debug and solve any missing punches, exceptions and manual data insertion, when used like that, the information reaches the headquarters already filtered. In multi-company approach is specially relevant to have all punch clocks synchronized with its GMT time. BlueClocks can operate with VPN when available or just by internet when only internet connection is available. Employee s name is displayed when punching. Printed paper reports can be configured with different fields than when seen through the web browser. IP setup, relay test, fingerprint enrolling, internet test,etc. When using several BlueClocks, BlueClock configuration can be copied to each Blue Clock. UPGRADABLE TO BLUEMETRIX SOFTWARE BlueClocks can send in real time its punches to Bluemetrix Time Attendance. When more powerful features are required, Bluemetrix is available. 11 HOW DOES IT WORK? THREE STEPS INSTALLATION 1) Attach and Connect BlueClocks are supplied ready to be attached to the wall and connected to a power outlet, a 10 feet ethernet cable is also supplied and ready to connect to your local network. 2)Assign an IP address You must assign to the BlueClock a valid IP address in your network. This Is done directly with the keypad. 3)Access the Software From any PC of your local network, open your preferred Web Browser, type the new assigned IP, you will be asked for ID and Password and you are already up and running! SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION Once the BlueClock is operating you only need to enroll the fingerprints of the employees or its proximity cards and the BlueClock ready to print worked hours, breaks delays etc. If more detailed information is required, you will need to configure shifts parameters, calendars and leave codes. 11/14

12 INTEGRATION TO OTHER T&A SOFTWARE AND PAYROLL BlueClocks exports punches in configurable formats to be imported from any existing T&A Software. Other files with calculated hours and exceptions can be customized for yourself to match with your payroll software requirements, included QB. Exported payroll files can be in CSV format or just even directly Excel. Free support is provided over the subject. EXCEL EXPORT BlueClocks export directly any report to excel TO OTHER ERP SYSTEMS It is possible to synchronize directly with external databases as: SQL SERVER, ORACLE, POSTGRE SQL or MYSQL in true real time, in a way that changes made on the external database are directly updated in the BlueClock and any information generated in the BlueClock is updated in the external database.
