3 Article 2. GENERAL INFORMATIONS The Thabor Express will be this year a circuit of 4 Only Up Express Races, which will take place in the Bardonecchia Basin Mountains. The first event is on Friday, August in the Rocchemolles Valley with the second edition of Scarfiotti - Sommeiller, 7 km and 1100 D +, starting at 2250 meters of Rifugio Scarfiotti and arriving at 3333 meters of the Summeiller summit. On the days from 1 to 3 September the other three races will take place. The first two will leave from Bardonecchia, the third one from Valle Stretta. Friday 1/9/2017 afternoon Poggio Tre Croci Express, 3.5 km and 700 D + Saturday 2/9/2017, the most challenging test, Punta Nera Express, 10 km and 1700 D + On Sunday 3/9/2017 the most beautiful scenery, the Thabor Express and the Mini Trail of Lago Verde. 3 / 17

4 Participation in races is free, single rankings will be produced, with prizes to the top three men and the first three women and the general of the 4 races that will award the best circuit times. Article 3. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS To participate in the races you need to know a minimum the mountain, have a good workout, use a suitable clothing (temperature can change very quickly). 6 In case of bad weather or impracticality of one or more paths, alternative routes will be presented at the pre-race briefing. Competitors must strictly observe the marked race path by avoiding shortcuts or cutting traces of the track. The departure from the official route, as well as disqualification from the order of arrival, will occur at the sole risk and danger of the competitor. Article 5. MEDICAL CERTIFICATION Athletes must be aged + 18 and have a sports medical certificate valid for at least 1 October / 17

Section 8. SECURITY AND CONTROL On the route there will be staff members and alpine relief personnel in constant contact with the base. Paramedical staff will be stationed at different points of the route as well as on departure and arrival. Along the route will be set up checkpoints, where staff members will monitor the passage of athletes and check the mandatory material. Anyone who refuses to undergo mandatory material control will be disqualified. 10 / 17

11 Article 9. ENVIRONMENT The race takes place in natural parks and ecosystems with total protection. Competitors will have to keep a respectful attitude to the Alpine environment, avoiding in particular trashing waste, collecting flowers, or harassing fauna. Anyone who will be surprised to abandon waste along the route will be disqualified from the race and will incur any sanctions provided by municipal regulations. To reduce the environmental impact, refreshment points will not be supplied with plastic cups. Each competitor will have to bring a glass or bottle to fill the rustic. Article 10. METEO 11 / 17

12 In case of significant weather events (dense fog, snowdrifts, severe thunderstorms), the organization reserves the right to perform variations of the route, even at the last minute or during the race, in order to eliminate potential dangers or conditions of strong worry for the participants. Any changes will be communicated to the participants and reported by the staff. The organization also reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race if the weather conditions put the participants, volunteers or rescuers at risk. Article 11. OBLIGATORY MATERIAL We remind you that Scarfiotti - Sommeiller, Tre Croci Express, Punta Nera Express and Thabor Express are Only Up Races in semi-self-sufficiency in mountain environment (the top is the 3333 mt. of the Sommeiller peak) and that this can mean sudden changes in climatic conditions. The lack or insufficiency of the suitable material may have important personal consequences. 12 / 17

13 That being said, it is useful to define the following material as mandatory: Backpack or saddlebag with the necessary liquids Energy bars or solid foods, gel Bib number, carried on the chest and visible throughout the race Survival Blanket Whistle Hat or bandana Clothing suitable for sudden weather conditions. It is strongly recommended to start with the following material: Mobile phone Gloves N.B: Sticks are allowed. 13 / 17

SQUALIFICATIONS AND PENALTIES There is an immediate disqualification, with withdrawal of the race pennant, for the following offenses: Failure to pass from a control point Cut the race track Abandoning waste on the route Failure to rescue a competitor in difficulty Insults or threats to organizers or volunteers Refusal to undergo medical personnel check on the route 14 / 17

15 Refusal to undergo mandatory material control. Article 13. MAXIMUM TIME, TIMES, RETIRES There will be a "broom service" following the last competitor, so it will help retreats and prevent any injured players from leaving without assistance. To protect the health of the participants, the medical staff at the checkpoints or along the route will be able to stop the competitor who will not be considered fit to continue the race. In this case, the competitor must follow the directions of the medical staff, subject to immediate disqualification. The injured, those who will be judged by medical staff who are not eligible to continue the race, and other athletes who wish to retire voluntarily will be escorted on arrival. Any competitor who withdraws from the race out of the predetermined points will have to return to his own account, immediately notifying his withdrawal by telephone or sms at the number provided by the organization. 15 / 17
